AI4Good is a hackathon at the heart of the Ruhr area together with the BRAYCK Startup Alliance, unitin students, developers, and founders from across the UA-Ruhr universities (UDE, RUB, TU Dortmund) to prototype AI solutions for society's most pressing challenges — from sustainability to inclusion to public good. Over three intensive days (June 19-21, 2026), teams build with mentors from leading research labs and industry, pitch to a jury of investors and changemakers, and compete for prizes that go beyond cash: real pipeline into BRYCK's startup ecosystem and regional partners. No corporate buzzwords, no demo-day theater — just code, coffee, and AI that matters.
