  A look at the ML models, metrics and data at the core of Glite’s education system.

• ​8:15 - 8:45pm | Talk 2: “Concept Extractors: Finding Learning Concepts to Understand Student Mistakes, Personalise Learning and Build Knowledge Graphs” by Vassili Phipippov (CEO & Co-Founder, Glite)
  How do we automatically find the individual concepts in learning materials and student answers? Vassili will explain what concept extractors do, how they help us find teaching examples, understand student mistakes and build knowledge graphs. He’ll review the best approaches in industry and research, including how other papers tackle this across different subjects, and share how we do it at Glite, including our recently published paper reporting SOTA results in concept extraction for English vocabulary.
