The Start-up Café is a monthly meet-up where aspiring entrepreneurs connect, gain insights from guest founders & develop their business idea

****What is the Start-up Café?****Held on the last Thursday of each month, the Start-up Café is a relaxed coffee morning where aspiring entrepreneurs gather to learn, connect, and develop their business ideas. Each session features a guest entrepreneur who shares their journey, from early ideation to launch, and leads a workshop to help you refine your own concept. You’ll also have the chance to pitch your idea and receive valuable feedback in an open-mic session.

What to Expect at the Start-up Café:Networking: Connect with like-minded entrepreneurs in a friendly, supportive environment.💡 Insights and Inspiration: Hear directly from guest entrepreneurs who’ve brought early-stage ideas to life—putting their customer insights and value propositions into action, just as you have.🎯 Hands-On Workshop: Each guest will guide you through practical exercises to develop your idea and improve your pitch.🎙️ Pitch Open Mic: Practise pitching your idea in a casual, low-pressure setting and receive helpful feedback.

This month's guest entrepreneur is Nick Jeffers. Nick is a Co‑Founder of Enovus Labs, an Irish deep‑tech company developing advanced thermal and mechanical solutions for high‑performance electronics in extreme environments, including space. He holds a PhD in Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics and has spent over 20 years working across advanced manufacturing, aerospace, and electronics cooling. Nick combines hands‑on engineering with commercial leadership, and Enovus Labs has recently deployed its technology on the lunar surface.
