Azure HorizonDB for SQL Server Professionals

Azure HorizonDB is Microsoft’s new cloud-native PostgreSQL-compatible database service, but what does it mean for someone with a SQL Server background? In this session, Greg will explore HorizonDB through a SQL Server professional’s eyes, looking at its architecture, terminology, tooling, security, availability, scaling, and performance concepts. He’ll also drill into the significant AI tooling that is provided. Whether PostgreSQL is completely new to you or you simply want to understand Microsoft’s latest database offering, this session will help you get oriented quickly.
