Join Women in Big Data Berlin and the Bertelsmann Stiftung for an evening exploring how AI and data can support evidence-based decision-making and create meaningful social impact.
As AI moves from experimentation into everyday work, we want to look beyond what the technology can do and ask how we can use it responsibly, who benefits, and what it takes to build trustworthy systems that serve the common good.

We’ll hear practical examples from experts working across AI, data, policy and social impact, including:

• AI-powered knowledge management that makes information findable, contextualised and traceable
• Research agents for policy that turn complex questions into evidence synthesis, research gaps and decision-ready options
• Responsible AI by design, including human oversight, data protection, transparency and quality checks
• Impact beyond automation, focusing on better decisions, learning and long-term organisational capacity
