Bias and Fairness in AI: An Overview
SĂ©rgio Jesus | Feedzai
How can we tell if an AI system is treating people unfairly? And what can we do about it?
SĂ©rgio will walk us through examples of what can go wrong, how to choose fairness metrics that fit the problem, and the choices involved in balancing fairness and model performance.
We'll also look at open-source tools for checking models and reducing bias before, during and after training.
