Your recordings deserve more than a folder on your laptop.

That podcast you recorded. The idea you explained on camera. The content you keep meaning to edit.

What if you could build your own app to help turn those recordings into something ready to share?

Join NoCrastination for a full day of hands-on building in Vienna. With guidance from Levi, you’ll create your own AI video editor, an app you can keep, customise and use after the workshop.

You’ll describe what you want in plain English, let an AI coding assistant write the code, and test each feature on a recording. No coding experience required.

What you’ll build

Across three practical sessions, you’ll develop your editor one feature at a time:

🎙️ Session 1: Make sense of your recordings
Start with an app that plays audio, transcribes speech and identifies different speakers. Turn a group brainstorm into written ideas and next steps.

✂️ Session 2: Get your video into shape
Add video, remove filler words and long pauses, improve the audio and create captions that highlight words as they’re spoken.

🚀 Session 3: Prepare your content to share
Add effects, extract vertical shorts, create thumbnails and titles, and connect the steps into a repeatable workflow.

The goal is to take a raw recording and produce an edited video, five shorts and thirty thumbnails, with an app you built yourself.

Everyone works on the core features. If you finish early, you can explore extra features; the take-home guide lets you continue at your own pace.

Who is this for?

  • Creators and podcasters with recordings waiting to be edited.
  • Founders and freelancers making content for their business.
  • Educators turning their knowledge into videos.
  • Curious beginners who want to build something useful with AI.

You’ll be working on your own laptop throughout the day, with guidance and other participants building alongside you.

What’s included

  • Three guided workshop sessions.
  • Lunch, drinks and snacks.
  • Sample footage to practise with.
  • A setup checklist sent one week beforehand.
  • A step-by-step guide to keep.
  • Your finished project and its source code.
  • A digital certificate to share on LinkedIn.

What to bring and prepare

Bring a laptop, headphones, your phone and a charger. Your own recordings are welcome, and sample footage is provided.

You’ll need an AI coding assistant, such as Codex or Claude Code. Its subscription and any AI service credits are separate from your ticket.

A Mac with Apple silicon or a Windows laptop with an NVIDIA graphics card is recommended. Other laptops can use cloud processing for the more demanding steps, with additional usage costs. Follow the advance setup checklist so you’re ready to start building.
