If you've been waiting for a sign to submit that talk — this is it. The BSides Ottawa 2026 CFP closes 15 September, 23:59 EDT.

First talk or fiftieth, we want it. This stage was somebody's first stage: researchers, operators, analysts, students and public servants have stepped onto it before anyone outside their own team knew their name. That's not an accident, it's the entire point of the room.

This year we're asking: who controls the stack? Somebody owns the data, somebody owns the model, somebody owns the keys and the circuit breakers. Pick a layer — Frontier AI, Digital Sovereignty, Cyber Resilience, or Open Stage if your idea won't sit in a box.
