Guardrailing Vibe Coding - Mini Hackathon!
About this event
All right!!!
Meetup #32 will take place May 5! This time, we're teaming up with Qlerify - an AI-powered tool that can improve productivity
by orders of magnitude when designing and building Business Applications. to address the challenges when faced with trying to guardrail vibe coding! Once again, we will have the pleasure and privilege of collaborating with AI Sweden!
This time, those of us so inclined, will get to bring out our laptops and actually build stuff on-site! Others, less keen to build can network in the usual Stockholm MLOps format! :-)
We're setting up this meetup as a mini-hackathon. The program is still being worked out, but basically, we'll run a couple of talks as usual and then Nikolaus and Staffan co-founders of Qlerify will show us how we can use their platform to build out the specs for any kind of business app/idea we have. We'll then push this out to an agentic coding tool of our choice such as Claude Code and watch in awe how the app will be built out in compliance with the specs and guardrails we've modelled in their tool!
This is a new, hands-on oriented approach we're trying out. We hope you will like it! Bring an idea and we'll bring it to life together during the meetup. No black-belt chops needed!
Mini Hackathon - Approach
- Quick walkthrough of the Qlerify tool and the Hackathon
- Create teams with 3-5 team members (each team needs at least one laptop)
- Team members create a Qlerify account
- Teams generate specs with the Qlerify tool
- Teams generate apps with their favorite AI coding tool
- Iterate if needed (update spec and regenerate app)
- Each team presents their app
- Participants vote for the best app

Speaker Line-Up
-
Nikolaus Varzakakous, Co-Founder & COO at Qlerify.
-
Staffan Palopää, Co-Founder & CEO, Qlerify.
-
Eyo Eyoma, CEO Sweden & Co-Founder 8wave.ai will give a talk titled "Moving fast with full control". Abstract: This talk focuses on how to practically manage the ever increasing flow of new AI capabilities and untangle what is required technically to make sure that they behave they way you want & deliver business value as they are applied in complex agentic work patterns.
-
Karin Nissfolk, AI Business Lead / Analyst – AI Risk & Security, Data & Analytics will give a talk titled "From Uncertainty to Control: Designing AI Systems We Can Trust." Abstract: AI systems are inherently probabilistic, introducing uncertainty that challenges reliability in production. Yet uncertainty does not mean a lack of control.
This talk shows how trust in AI is built, starting with clearly defined problems, followed by explicit intent, structured context, and well-defined specifications, enforced through guardrails. Trustworthy AI is not a property of the model, but of the system we design around it.
Looking forward to seeing you there,
/Patrick & the Stockholm MLOps Team
