What happens when the career you have built successfully for decades no longer feels like the career you want for your next chapter?

After more than 20 years in the technology industry, Pragati Siddhanti made the decision to step away from a successful corporate career and move into academia, research, and community building. Her transition was not driven by burnout or walking away from success. Instead, it came from a deeper question: What does success mean to me now?

Join us in September for an interactive and reflective conversation with Pragati Siddhanti, Former Senior Technology Executive, Lecturer at FHNW Switzerland, and Founder of My Swiss Story.

Drawing on her own career transition, Pragati will share the experiences, doubts, and lessons that shaped her transition, and how embracing change opened the door to a more meaningful and authentic career. Together, we'll explore questions around identity, purpose, courage, and what it means to create a career that aligns with the person we are becoming.

We will reflect on:

  • What would you do if the fear of starting over wasn't part of the equation?
  • How has your definition of success changed over the years?
  • What part of yourself have you been putting on hold that deserves more space in this next chapter of your life?
  • Have you ever found yourself succeeding in a career that no longer felt like your own?

Expect an honest conversation, personal stories, and space to reflect on your own career journey; whether you are actively considering a change, questioning what comes next, or simply curious about how our definition of a successful career can evolve over time.

Participation principle:

To foster diverse perspectives and balanced representation, each participant is asked to bring someone with a different background (e.g. gender, nationality, professional profile).

Who should attend:

This conversation is for anyone reflecting on their professional path, considering a career transition, redefining what success means to them, or wondering how to create more space for purpose and authenticity in their working life.

Join us for a thoughtful morning conversation about change, courage, and the possibilities that can emerge when we allow ourselves to rethink what a successful career can look like.

Hello 50:50 World

Can we really achieve gender equity and diversity in tech if we stay in our feminist bubbles? Do you believe that we can only achieve more equality when everybody is on board? Then join the conversation on diversity in tech at our Hello 50:50 world meetups.

To participate, you’ll need to bring someone with a different perspective (e.g., gender, nationality, etc.) to ensure balanced participation. Both you and your +1 need to get a ticket so we can better manage attendance.
