Thomas Allan Nygaard is Head of Delivery Management & Enablement at Laerdal Medical. He previously spent eight years helping build SpareBank 1 Utvikling’s product organisation, including the team behind Norway’s Best Mobile Bank in 2024. He is particularly interested in product-led organisations, organisational design and empowering teams to solve complex problems.

This talk explores NNG's method for assessing the ROI of your product proposals. It delves into how to strategically benchmark your product’s user experience, track improvements, and compare it with competitors.

In essence, this approach offers an actionable plan to benchmark and determine the return on investment for your product or service, highlighting the value of your ideas to stakeholders or clients.

Gloria Rivera Marcano is a UX Designer at Olavstoppen who combines deep expertise in user research, usability measurement, and product design to help organizations create solutions that deliver measurable value. Drawing from her experience leading research and design initiatives for large-scale Equinor programs, she focuses on connecting user needs with business outcomes and demonstrating the impact of design investments.

Explore laser cutting on leather!

This introductory course is a great way to learn how to work with leather and a laser cutter. You’ll discover different types of leather and learn which ones work best for different projects. This course, perfect even if you’ve never worked with leather or a laser cutter before.

You’ll gain hands-on skills in:

• Cutting
• Laser engraving
• Shaping / forming
• Polishing
• Beveling edges
• Dyeing / aging leather
• Working with rivets and snaps
• Surface finishing
• Basic stitching

But not all of these skills will be included in the course.

The projects are simple and fun — mostly making holes, attaching snaps, and polishing. Making coasters and bookmarks, included in the fee.

If you want, you can also try slightly bigger projects for an extra leather fee, like a small leather tray or a mouse pad.

Bring your creativity and have fun learning the basics of laser cutting on leather!

In this course, you’ll learn how a 3D printer works, what materials you can use, and how to prepare your own model for printing. Everything is explained clearly and step by step — perfect even if you’ve never tried it before.
