Joint Meetup #1: AI Tinkerers + LLM Practitioners Karlsruhe

Hey there,
it’s time for something new: we're hosting our first joint meetup together with AI Tinkerers Karlsruhe!
It will take place on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, at 6:30 PM, at Blue Yonder in Karlsruhe. There will be food and drinks.
This time, the format will be a bit different from our usual meetups: instead of longer talks, we’ll have short technical demos, live code, architecture walkthroughs, and a science-fair-style session where you can walk around, ask questions, and discuss implementation details directly with the builders.
Want to show what you’re working on? We’re looking for short, technical demos: live code, architecture walkthroughs, tools, experiments, lessons learned, or things that broke along the way. If that sounds like you, please register as a speaker on the AI Tinkerers event page, or reach out via the Meetup platform.
Our schedule:
6:30 pm: Doors open, registration, food and early networking
7:00 pm: Kickoff and short welcome
7:15 pm: Main stage demos (short technical walkthroughs with live code and architecture)
8:15 pm: Science fair (hands-on code walkthroughs and interactive demos)
9:00 pm: Networking and collaborative debugging (until approx. 9:30 pm)
If you are building something with LLMs, agents, RAG, local models, evaluation, context engineering, or AI tooling, this should be a good evening to meet others working on similar problems.
