Un pomeriggio di collaborazione, networking e innovazione dedicato alla community Magento Open Source e Mage-OS.

Il Mage-OS Hackathon nasce con un obiettivo semplice: creare uno spazio aperto dove sviluppatori, merchant, designer, system integrator, project manager e appassionati di e-commerce possano incontrarsi, condividere idee e contribuire insieme alla crescita dell’ecosistema open source.

Non è necessario essere programmatori per partecipare.

L’evento è aperto a chiunque voglia portare competenze, esperienza, idee o semplicemente curiosità verso il futuro dell’e-commerce open source.

Durante il pomeriggio i partecipanti potranno:

proporre idee e miglioramenti,

confrontarsi su problematiche reali,

collaborare su nuove funzionalità,

fare brainstorming tecnico e funzionale,

lavorare su UX/UI, performance, tooling e documentazione,

creare connessioni con professionisti della community internazionale Magento e Mage-OS.

L’obiettivo non è soltanto “scrivere codice”, ma costruire insieme un ecosistema più aperto, moderno, libero e sostenibile.

L’evento si concluderà con un momento di networking e aperitivo informale insieme ai partecipanti del Meet Magento Italy 2026 presenti a Firenze da tutta Europa.

An afternoon dedicated to collaboration, networking, and innovation for the Magento Open Source and Mage-OS community.

The Mage-OS Hackathon was created with a simple goal: bringing together developers, merchants, designers, system integrators, project managers, and e-commerce professionals in an open environment where ideas can be shared and transformed into real contributions for the open-source ecosystem.

You do not need to be a developer to participate.

This event is open to anyone interested in contributing with skills, ideas, experience, or curiosity about the future of open-source commerce.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to:

propose ideas and improvements,

discuss real-world e-commerce challenges,

collaborate on new features and initiatives,

brainstorm technical and functional solutions,

work on UX/UI, performance, tooling, and documentation,

connect with professionals from the international Magento and Mage-OS community.

The goal is not only to write code, but to help build a more open, modern, independent, and sustainable e-commerce ecosystem together.

The event will conclude with an informal networking aperitivo alongside attendees and speakers already in Florence for Meet Magento Italy 2026.
