Digital Sovereignty Is a Balance, not a Binary
🎤 Markus Ostertag - AWS Hero & Chief AWS Technologist @adesso DE
Achieving digital sovereignty in the cloud means balancing the desire for control against the cost of losing access to cutting-edge innovation. Drawing on concrete AWS options - from customer-managed encryption and open-source tooling to deployment models - this talk shows how you can make sovereignty a series of informed decisions rather than an all-or-nothing trade-off which it isn't.
Sovereign AI on AWS
🎤 Damien Schmitt - Principal Cloud Architect & Founder @atyos
🎤 Hugo Poidvin - AI Engineer @atyos
🎤 Jeffrey Brignoli - Solution Architect @atyos
How can AI be hosted and operated in Switzerland while ensuring data security and sovereignty? Two concrete use cases on AWS for architectures that comply with regulatory requirements.
