About this event

19h30 Start
Flash pitches of new members and projects + Swiss Games News

Small Talk (10-15min): Ravioli Planet
Camille Bovey and Sébastien de Graffenried (Le Château Turbulent) will be there to talk about their latest project, the cozy cooking sim "Ravioli Planet", recipient of the Canton de Vaud grant and She Got Game program.

Main Talk (45 min): Why Make a Custom Game Engine?
Elias Farhan (Team KwaKwa and SAE Institute Geneva) will explore why you might choose to build a custom game engine. From low-level control and innovation to supporting specific platforms and achieving financial independence, sometimes there are good reasons to break the old rule: "Make a game, not a game engine."

Both presentations will be held in French.
