Welcome to the Seventh BDEN Meetup!
AI is moving fast, and developers are right in the middle of it.
Some are already experimenting with AI-assisted coding, agents, MCP servers, and local models. Others are still trying to understand what all these new concepts really mean and where to start. This meetup is designed for both.
For our seventh Belgian Developer Experience Network meetup, we will focus on what developers are facing today: Which struggles are we facing both in AI as in “regular” software development.
As always, expect more than slideware. We will have explanations, demos, real-world discussion, and enough space for questions and networking.

Join us for a deep dive into on-premises AI, covering the full technology stack from hardware to software. We’ll explore what it takes to build and run AI workloads on your own infrastructure, including compute and GPU requirements, infrastructure architecture, AI platforms, deployment, and the software stack.
The session will combine practical insights with real-world experiences, highlighting the opportunities, challenges, and key considerations when bringing AI closer to your own infrastructure.

During this panel, Jo and Christophe will quickly showcase what they are doing with AI. These short presentations will then (hopefully) trigger an audience wide discussion about how to use AI, how to develop with AI and how to make your (developer) life easier. So don’t forget to bring your questions as experiences to the panel discussion.
