For our September Build it Club meetup, we're bringing together three experienced engineering leaders and architects to explore what happens beyond the hype.
We'll look at scaling AI adoption across an organization, running WebAssembly in cloud-native environments, and designing production systems for a world where AI is becoming part of the architecture itself.
Expect practical lessons, architecture discussions, real-world failures, and plenty of engineering experience from the field.

He'll cover the technical and philosophical bets that worked, the ones that didn't, operational lessons as usage scaled, failure modes worth watching for, and one increasingly important question:
Once "more AI usage" is no longer enough, how do we measure whether AI is actually creating value?

Running WebAssembly on Azure: Is There Something There?
WebAssembly promises security, performance and cross-platform interoperability, but where does it actually belong outside the browser?
Tomasz will explore WebAssembly's move into cloud-native environments and examine how Azure is experimenting with it in the Kubernetes ecosystem.
We'll look at technologies and projects such as Azure Kubernetes Service, SpinKube and Kwasm, and explore whether WebAssembly has a meaningful place in modern cloud architecture.

Generating code has never been easier. Engineering production-ready systems hasn't become easier with it.

Piotr will explore the dual challenge of building with AI and building for AI.
