Plenty of spaces so please ignore the meetup limit of 10
The use of conductive or magnetic shielding material can have a significant impact on EMI performance. This coupled with the potential for late-stage introduction into the design makes these an attractive solution. The aim is to discuss the available components and their characteristics as well as the quick solutions that can be used. How to select and implement shielding solutions for both electric and magnetic fields will also be covered. This session will have a practical demo as part of demonstrating the various solutions.
The following are some of the agenda items we will cover:
- Shielding Basics and Apertures
- Different Solutions for Different Locations
- Proof of the pudding is in the demo’ing
Speaker:
Mohamed Al-Alami
Field Applications Engineer - Wurth Electronics UK
Mohamed comes from a power supply design and development background. He worked in the Aerospace Industry for 10 years designing power supplies on various civilian and military projects.
