15h40-17h: Panel Discussions:
- Future Ready Manufacturing: Intelligent Products Design (digital thread, simulation led design) and Smart Factory (paperless operations, connected plant, connected workforce)
- Intervention of Digital Technologies (AI / GenAI, ML, Cloud) across the value chain of helicopter or VTOL lifecycle
17h-18h: Design Thinking Workshop:
The panel discussion will be followed by a Design Thinking workshop where the objective is to identify the top 3 challenges being faced by the Switzerland Helicopter and VTOL industry and recommend actions.
18h+: apéro & networking

About the event: Helicopters are the lifelines of infrastructure and safety. The industry today is facing a combination of challenges – human capital, supply chain constraints, production ramp-up, sustainable operations. The VTOL industry is facing challenges of regulations, urban airspace and ground infrastructure, complex flight controls and battery limits. In the WG meeting we discuss on technology intervention on some of these challenges by way of panel discussions and design thinking workshop.
