Tech for Good
About this event
Join us, AgriSound, Humans Not Robots, and Simpson Associates to explore purpose-led technology
Featured speakers:
Casey Woodward is the Founder & CEO of AgriSound
Bees (and other pollinators) play a crucial role in food production, providing ~$500B in ecosystem services to farmers and growers. Yet, bee populations are continuing to die at record rates and threatening production of soft fruits, vegetables and plant protein.
AgriSound is combining acoustic monitoring with environmental sensors to better understand the factors causing bee population decline, developing a range of IoT enabled products and analytical tools to support beekeepers and growers manage pollinators.
Kristan Bullett is the Co-founder and CEO of Humans Not Robots.
Digital infrastructure carries a hidden cost in energy and carbon, yet most organisations can't see it, let alone act on it. Humans Not Robots (HNR) makes that cost visible, measurable, and actionable. Their observability platform tracks the cost, carbon, and business value of every technology and AI workload, giving teams one honest view of their environmental footprint and a clear path to do more with less. They call this Quality of Impact (QoI).
HNR's goal is to help companies run cheaper, faster, and cleaner technology operations.
