About this event
Tokenizing Humanity: Protecting Human Income in the AI-Augmented Era
Organized by: CAS Blockchain - University of Geneva (UNIGE)
Sponsored by: Bitget
In a world where generative AI produces at a marginal cost compared to human labor, the notion of value is undergoing a profound mutation. According to the International Monetary Fund (2024), 60% of jobs in advanced economies are facing this new reality. The major risk is not merely the replacement of tasks, but the collapse of human income in the face of an infinite supply of automated content and services.
How can we preserve the economic dignity of the individual when the machine mimics competence? This Meetup presents these negative aspects of AI while also highlighting positive examples.
AI as an Inequality Corrector: The Case of DéclicDys
Far from being a threat, technology can also become a tool for economic justice. Instead of viewing AI as a substitute for income, we present it as a tool for empowerment and leveling the playing field.
Dyslexia should no longer be a barrier to accessing income. The AI developed by the DéclicDys association acts as a "liberation interface." It allows neuroatypical talents to express their full strategic and creative potential by overcoming the barriers of traditional writing. In this way, AI helps these individuals secure an income.
AI Assisting Artists and Writers
Writer and musician Phil Sittelmann, author of the books Digital Gods and Fallen Angels, will share how he uses AI as a multimedia promotional lever to create music and videos based on his writings.
Finally, the "tokenization of humanity" via the House of Good AI project will be presented.
Speakers
Creation & Intention: Writer Phil Sittelmann (Digital Gods and Fallen Angels) will share how he uses AI as a tool while certifying his human identity on the blockchain.
Inclusive AI: How DéclicDys uses AI to open new income horizons for dyslexic profiles, presented by Elodie Jallet, Secretary and Treasurer.
