Soft skills rarely appear in a UX development plan. We track tool proficiency, build portfolios, chase certifications. The ability to communicate clearly, give useful feedback, or earn trust in a difficult room - that gets treated as background noise, something you either have or don't.

About the speaker:
After founding an international startup and gaining project experience in software design and digital strategy, including personnel responsibility in a management position, Claudia is now the managing partner of swohlwahr GmbH & Co KG, a management consultancy specializing in user-centered organizations. There, she supports startups, SMEs, and corporations in strategic transformation and digitalization projects. She is a lecturer in interaction design at a vocational college in Salzburg and co-author of the books "Soft Skills for UX Professionals & Human-centered Design" and "User Experience Design and Sustainability." She is also Vice President of the International Accreditation Program of UX Professionals (IAPUX).
