You were contracted to support. You want to empower, foster growth and help achieve objectives. And then… Clash! Although you are excited about your project and your client, all parties are up for collaboration and come with best intentions, you find yourself feeling like you’re expected to obey instead. Why is that?

Especially in B2B contexts, many Agilists – such as contracted Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and delivery teams – know the tension: clients ask for certainty, control, and predefined solutions, while reality demands learning, adaptation, and honest conversations.

Does that sound familiar? Did you ever witness a Daily Standup meeting turn into an endless reporting ritual? Have you been dealing with a stakeholder ordering features nobody validated yet? Do you remember a situation when you were asked to take responsibility without the mandate to influence anything that matters?

This interactive workshop format thrives on your participation. By collaborative group work on real-life scenarios we’ll explore the space between customer expectations, contracts, delivery pressure, and meaningful change. Together, we’ll unpack conflicts, exchange experiences, and reflect on hands-on strategies for handling difficult situations without sacrificing professionalism, impact, or customer relations.

To make sure we have enough space for group work and networking we are finally back at Quartier22! Incredible 6.5 years ago we successfully conducted a Scrum Master Special session here and had a pretty productive event. So Thanks to Karsten and Sebastian, we’re looking forward to kicking off our first event in 2026 in the heart of Dresden’s vibrant Neustadt.
