Who Builds the Product Now?
About this event
Building AI into real products, not demos. Three perspectives on one question: how do we build products when everyone can build?
Who Builds the Product Now?
For teams building AI into real products, not just showing it off in a demo. Living through half-adopted features, skeptical or overly enthusiastic stakeholders, and managers rethinking their whole job. We will tell you about chasing signals your dashboards miss, rebuilding trust when it breaks, and leading teams that need to self-organize faster than org chart can keep up.
The Talks
1️⃣ MCP: Does Anyone Use the Thing? When tracking data can't see success by Katerina Vaneckova
The MCP usage dashboard can't see the moment your feature actually wins. MCP adoption looked quiet in Wrike's own data - until we talked to builders, combined it with what we could measure, and deconstructed their stories. This is a talk about what to do when your product's success moves somewhere you can't see: how we went looking for it, what signals we learned to spot, and what gaps we found along the way.
2️⃣ Building AI for people who don't want to be your beta testers by Martin Zattovic
Between the stakeholder who thinks AI is a chatbot that helps with presentations and the one who thinks it'll replace the team tomorrow, someone has to ship. For an established product, trust is a budget you spend, which makes correction and recovery the real design work. I'll walk you through our two years of building, what I got wrong on the way, and the problems still unsolved.
3️⃣ From Managers to Multipliers: Leadership in the Age of AI By Viktor Tymoscuk
AI is changing not only how engineers build, but also how engineering organizations need to be led. As organizations become flatter, managers lead more teams while teams take greater ownership and self-organize. This talk explores how the role of the engineering leader shifts from managing execution to creating the conditions for people and teams to make better decisions, develop the right skills, and multiply their impact.
Who this is for:
Product managers, builders, engineers, designers, and engineering leaders building with AI in real products, especially anyone past the demo stage and into the messy part.
