Women in Tech: Steer AI Coding Agents with Spec-Driven Coding
About this event
📅 Thursday, 22 October 2026 · 🕕 18:00–20:00
📍 JobRad GmbH, Heinrich-von-Stephan-Str. 13, 79100 Freiburg
AI agents are changing how we build software—but how do we guide them towards reliable, high-quality results? Join our Women in Tech community for an evening of learning, conversation, and connection as we explore Spec-Driven Coding.
Our speaker, Sabine Schleise, Research Engineer for Future Technologies at SICK Think Tank, will introduce a structured approach to working with AI coding agents: defining what you want to build, setting clear acceptance criteria, and evaluating whether the results meet your expectations.
She’ll walk us through the method and share a real project she built using it, along with practical tips you can take into your own experiments.
Whether you’re already working with AI coding tools or simply curious about how they work, all experience levels are welcome!
What to expect
- Spec-Driven Coding explained: Learn how clear specifications help steer AI coding agents while keeping software architecture and quality in focus.
- A real-world project: See how Sabine applied the method and hear practical lessons from her experience.
- Q&A: Bring your questions and explore the topic together.
- Networking, food & drinks: Connect with other women in tech over snacks and drinks, and exchange ideas from the evening.
No prior experience required—just bring your curiosity!
The learning won’t stop here! We’re planning a follow-up meetup to keep experimenting, build on your ideas, and share your projects and experiences with others in the community. Stay tuned for more details!
