CURSOR Workshop: Introduction to coding as a creative interface and poetic practice

We live in a world built on code — yet for most of us, it remains invisible, technical infrastructure. This workshop invites you to step inside it and explore coding as a creative practice. Through hands-on exercises, we'll explore creative coding not just as a technical skill, but as a way of thinking and making through code as a creative interface and a poetic practice.

Our host of the day is Luis (he/him) - a digital technology hater/lover and active participant in its reproduction due to his work as a precariat educator in the Danish tech academia. His lingering interest in the field drives him to reconcile his love and hatred for all things digital by attempting to escape the industry's hype cycles and war-oriented research, redirecting them towards actual convivial technology. Bonus points if it taps into your artistic self, can be DIY'd, and you don't buy anything new for it.

This workshop is open to everyone and will be held in English.

No prior coding experience needed. We encourage you to bring a laptop, smartphone or another device - but you can also participate empty-handed.

The event is free but signup is nececary
