Jens De Beule is founder of Webscout, an international web agency established in Ghent (Belgium). His talk will be about Agents on the payroll: what happened when I let AI run my back office. For the past year he has been building a small team of AI agents that handle the unglamorous half of running a WordPress agency: sorting the inbox, drafting replies, keeping a task list honest, triaging support tickets and noticing when a client site goes down at 3AM in the morning. This is the honest version of that story. What actually works, what quietly broke, and the mistakes that cost: an agent that archived things it should not have, a timezone bug that made every alert an hour wrong, and the day I learned that an agent must never be the one to press send. You will leave with a clear sense of where an agent earns its place, where a plain old script is the better answer, and which guardrails to put in before you hand anything over.
