This page narrows the Barcelona calendar to Cybersecurity events. It's a subset of Spain's wider tech-event schedule, useful when you want something specific to go to in the city this month.
Barcelona runs Spain's largest tech-event calendar. Software engineering meetups are particularly deep: Python, JavaScript, and the various mobile communities (iOS, Android, cross-platform) all sustain strong monthly rhythms. The product-management and design scenes are active alongside, partly fueled by the concentration of international scaleups and remote teams in the city.

El programa abordará tres grandes ejes temáticos. En primer lugar, Industria 4.0, analizando cómo las compañías afrontan los riesgos derivados de la integración entre IT, OT e IoT, la conectividad masiva y el uso intensivo de datos, así como la evolución hacia modelos más seguros y resilientes. En segundo lugar, Ciberseguridad Financiera y Confianza Digital, con una mirada puesta en la protección de datos, la prevención del fraude, la inteligencia artificial y la colaboración público privada para reforzar la resiliencia del sistema financiero. Por último, Soberanía y Ciberseguridad, explorando cómo las ciberamenazas impactan en la seguridad nacional, las instituciones y los servicios esenciales, y cómo se refuerzan la prevención, detección y respuesta desde una visión estratégica y operativa.

Two talks. Two speakers. Two very different sides of the same problem — how attackers pick their targets, and how defenders pick what to fix.
And a proper amount of time to talk to each other: a full hour of networking before the talks, and the rest of the evening after. The talks are the excuse; the room is the point.
This month we're partnering with Allianz Technology, who are opening the doors of their Barcelona offices to host us. 🙌
We're also going deeper instead of wider: 20 minutes per speaker, plus a real Q&A after each. Bring questions.

1️⃣ Individual research on Traffic Distribution Systems (TDS): associated campaigns and YARA rules for detection By Mar Garcia Sabaté (Threat Intelligence Lead @ Allianz Technology)
Before a victim ever sees a payload, a TDS has already decided who they are and whether they're worth the trouble — filtering by geography, device, and whether you look like a researcher. Original research into the campaigns built on this infrastructure, and the YARA rules you can take home to detect them.
2️⃣ Nobody Reads 40,000 Vulnerability Findings By Gerardo Prieto (CISO)
Handing the backlog to a chain of AI agents — and knowing when to stop and ask a human.
Detection was never the bottleneck. Triage, ownership, chasing and retesting are. This session walks through an agentic pipeline that takes a finding — whether it came from a cloud scanner, a SAST tool, an endpoint agent or a pentest report — all the way to a verified fix. Contextual severity scoring, one agent independently checking another's work, and the hard part: knowing when the automation is confident and when a human still has to decide.
