Software Engineering Events in Cardiff
This is the widest category on Brainberg, because software engineering itself spans a huge range of events: language user groups (Python, Rust, Go, TypeScript, Kotlin, Elixir, Ruby, Zig), framework communities (React, Svelte, Next.js, Vue, Laravel, Django, NixOS), backend architecture tracks, testing and QA tracks (ISTQB certification courses, mutation testing, test-automation workshops), refactoring and DDD circles, hackathons, and the long tail of "thoughtful engineering" meetups that don't fit neatly under any specific stack.
This page narrows the Cardiff calendar to Software Engineering events. It's a subset of United Kingdom's wider tech-event schedule, useful when you want something specific to go to in the city this month.

Atlassian Community Cardiff: Solve It Before Summer
Cardiff, 🇬🇧 United Kingdom
Join us for a relaxed summer ACE in Cardiff - part workshop, part lunch & learn, part community social.
This event is all about bringing local Atlassian users together to share ideas, talk through challenges, and get practical help with the issues that tend to pile up before summer.
Expect a casual, interactive session with one or two short talks, open discussion, and time to raise your own Atlassian questions. Whether that’s Jira, Confluence, JSM, automations, reporting, governance, or just general “why is this behaving like that?” moments.
We’ll keep things informal, useful, and friendly. Come along to learn something new, swap ideas with other teams, and meet fellow Atlassian users in the Cardiff community.
Afterwards we’ll stick around for a drink or two - including alcohol-free options - and hopefully enjoy a bit of summer sunshine.
What to expect:
Short, practical Atlassian talks
Open Q&A and problem-solving
Informal networking
Drinks afterwards for anyone who wants to stay
Who should attend:
Anyone using Atlassian tools locally in and around Cardiff - admins, team leads, project managers, service teams, technical users, and anyone looking to get more from Jira, Confluence, or Jira Service Management.
Bring your questions, your frustrations, and your best Atlassian war stories.
