Software Engineering Events in Europe
This is the widest category on Brainberg, because software engineering itself spans a huge range of events: language user groups (Python, Rust, Go, TypeScript, Kotlin, Elixir, Ruby, Zig), framework communities (React, Svelte, Next.js, Vue, Laravel, Django, NixOS), backend architecture tracks, testing and QA tracks (ISTQB certification courses, mutation testing, test-automation workshops), refactoring and DDD circles, hackathons, and the long tail of "thoughtful engineering" meetups that don't fit neatly under any specific stack.
The community layer is broader than just language meetups. Women-in-Tech groups are active in most major cities (IT Women Talks, SheTech, Women in Tech Glasgow, REAL TALK and more), CoderDojo chapters run youth coding sessions across Europe, and the after-work/tech-social rhythm (Afterwork Drinks, Tech Mixers, Code Review evenings) fills out the week between structured meetups. GOTO Copenhagen, International JavaScript Conference Munich, Code BEAM Stockholm, Heapcon Belgrade, and Devoxx anchor the conference side.
Every major European tech city runs a weekly rotation of these. Berlin's Rust and Go scenes are deep; Amsterdam and London have strong functional programming communities; Paris runs some of the best TypeScript and full-stack events on the continent; the Nordic cities punch above their weight on language design and systems programming. Dublin, Barcelona, Lisbon, Zurich, and Munich each sustain multiple active user groups. Because "software engineering" is so broad, this page is most useful when you combine it with a location filter. Brainberg aggregates all of this, so the full schedule for a given city shows up in one view instead of scattered across separate platforms.

Code4Care: un hackathon per un volontariato smart.
Vigonza, 🇮🇹 Italy
Associazioni coinvolte e presenti all’evento:
- LILT (Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori) Associazione Provinciale di Padova.
Partecipazione:
- Massimo 12 partecipanti, in team da almeno 2 persone.
- Ingresso libero (inclusi bevande e cibo).
Unitevi a noi.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANTE HAY QUE APUNTARSE EN ESTE FORMS PARA ENTRAR AL EDIFICIO
AgentsDay. Desarrolla y utiliza agentes – Fill out form
----------------------------------------------------------------------

---
Programma della giornata
10:30 Ritrovo presso l'ingresso Ponte Verde
11:00 Prima camminata
11:30 Talk di Nicola Lobusto: Urgenza vs Importanza: cosa scegli oggi?
12:00 Camminata

6 - Siete Torino.NET. Si parlerà solo di .NET?
No!

Aranguren, 🇪🇸 Spain

Over CoderDojo

OpenClaw: Making it useful
Dublin, 🇮🇪 Ireland
Your OpenClaw is running. It replies. Maybe it's done a few things you've asked it to.
Now make it genuinely useful.

This is the second day in the OpenClaw series. We're going deeper: memory that actually persists across conversations, a knowledge base it can draw on, skills that connect it to the tools you already use, and workflows that handle a whole process end to end. These are the things that turn an interesting agent into something you actually rely on.
Self-directed, table-group format. You work at your own pace, in your own direction, with people around you doing the same.
What we'll work through together
- Memory architecture: short-term, long-term, episodic and how to set them up properly
- Knowledge bases: connecting your own docs and notes so the agent can draw on them
- Good skills to add: which integrations are worth the effort (Notion, email, calendar, GitHub)
- Giving access to tools: MCP, APIs, function calling
- Proper workflows: multi-step, conditional, handling a whole process and not just one message
- Sandboxing: running actions safely without breaking things or leaking data
NOTE: Registration invalid on meetup. Please register on here for a valid ticket: www.giveago.co/register/openclaw2

We’re closing the Tech Conference with a staaake Power Walk x Reverse Network side event. 🚶♂️✨
This isn’t your typical networking meetup. Our format is simple:
Connect First, Meet Later. Before the event, explore the LinkedIn profiles in the description and reach out. At the walk, you’ll meet them in person — no endless coffee chats, no back-to-back 15-minute calls.
The Power Walk is more like a break where you kill two birds at once — get your steps in while meeting peers in tech and AI, founders, creators, and investors. Even if the group doesn’t click right away, you’ll leave with fresh air and 6,000+ steps.
👀 Who Gets Seen?
- 🌟 Premium Spotlight – Top of the list + listed as a Luma co-host
- 🚀 Startups, Founders, Creators, Investors
- 🙋 General Listed Attendees
- ❌ Not Listed – you’ll join the walk, but won’t appear publicly
📲 Bonus for Attendees:
- Access to our private WhatsApp group for people who actually show up

Shopbot CNC theory and practical
Oslo, 🇳🇴 Norway
This course is necessary for new users of the Shopbot CNC at Bitraf to establish baseline knowledge & safety standards that everyone can expect from each other.
It will be held in English.
This course is fills up quickly - be the person that signs up and takes the opportunity to join a course seriously. If you don't turn up, you take away the opportunity to learn from someone else. Book the course time & date in your calendar, even if you're on the waiting list. It is very common to get bumped up as the course date/time approaches.
Signing up to the wait list means you take on the responsibility to check the event daily (even on the day of/hours before the event) and the possibility to turn up at short notice. If you know it's likely you won't have the time anymore, please change your RSVP to 'no' to remove yourself from the wait list as soon as you're aware.
Don't cancel last minute
** IMPORTANT **
This course is for paying Bitraf members only. It's a free course, but if you RSVP 'yes' and don't actually show up, you'll be fined 300 kroner, as an extra compensation to the course organizer.
Norwegian and English documentation for the CNC Shopbot machine can be found at
https://wiki.bitraf.no/wiki/ShopBot
https://paper.dropbox.com/doc/Shopbot-CNC-Practical-Course--CPuhw4ZeIcusxBHmxQHNSskPAg-oloV0VUdz7KmXWh7OTA9K
We start in the course room for the theory and move up to the practical section in the workshop after.
Things to do before the course;
- Install Dropbox (for transferring files to the CNC machine as memory cards or USB sticks cannot be used)
- Be part of Bitrafs 'google group'
Click here for how to join Bitraf's google group! - Join Bitrafs slack channel
https://bitraf.no/slack-invite/
It's an advantage if you look through the Shopbot tutorial videos:
Shopbot Training Tutorials
Upon completion of course you will have Shopbot CNC access via the p2k16 ‘TOOLS’ system. This enables use of the machine to be logged.
Thank you for your time and future attention.
CoderDojo LLN - 21/6/2026
Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, 🇧🇪 Belgium
C’est pourquoi CoderDojo n’a qu’une règle : « Above all : be cool ! »
Informations pratiques
Questions
Contacte-nous via lln@coderdojobelgium.be
