Brainberg

Software Engineering Events in Europe

This is the widest category on Brainberg, because software engineering itself spans a huge range of events: language user groups (Python, Rust, Go, TypeScript, Kotlin, Elixir, Ruby, Zig), framework communities (React, Svelte, Next.js, Vue, Laravel, Django, NixOS), backend architecture tracks, testing and QA tracks (ISTQB certification courses, mutation testing, test-automation workshops), refactoring and DDD circles, hackathons, and the long tail of "thoughtful engineering" meetups that don't fit neatly under any specific stack.

The community layer is broader than just language meetups. Women-in-Tech groups are active in most major cities (IT Women Talks, SheTech, Women in Tech Glasgow, REAL TALK and more), CoderDojo chapters run youth coding sessions across Europe, and the after-work/tech-social rhythm (Afterwork Drinks, Tech Mixers, Code Review evenings) fills out the week between structured meetups. GOTO Copenhagen, International JavaScript Conference Munich, Code BEAM Stockholm, Heapcon Belgrade, and Devoxx anchor the conference side.

Every major European tech city runs a weekly rotation of these. Berlin's Rust and Go scenes are deep; Amsterdam and London have strong functional programming communities; Paris runs some of the best TypeScript and full-stack events on the continent; the Nordic cities punch above their weight on language design and systems programming. Dublin, Barcelona, Lisbon, Zurich, and Munich each sustain multiple active user groups. Because "software engineering" is so broad, this page is most useful when you combine it with a location filter. Brainberg aggregates all of this, so the full schedule for a given city shows up in one view instead of scattered across separate platforms.

Code4Care: un hackathon per un volontariato smart.

Vigonza, 🇮🇹 Italy

Associazioni coinvolte e presenti all’evento:

  • LILT (Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori) Associazione Provinciale di Padova.

Partecipazione:

  • Massimo 12 partecipanti, in team da almeno 2 persone.
  • Ingresso libero (inclusi bevande e cibo).

Unitevi a noi.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANTE HAY QUE APUNTARSE EN ESTE FORMS PARA ENTRAR AL EDIFICIO

AgentsDay. Desarrolla y utiliza agentes – Fill out form
----------------------------------------------------------------------

---
Programma della giornata

10:30 Ritrovo presso l'ingresso Ponte Verde
11:00 Prima camminata
11:30 Talk di Nicola Lobusto: Urgenza vs Importanza: cosa scegli oggi?
12:00 Camminata
15:00 Camminata
15:30 Talk Savino Carlone: Comunicazione efficace e prossemica per developers
16:00 Rientro verso il punto di partenza
16:30 Merenda area picnic, e saluti finali
---
FAQ:

1 - Dove ci troviamo?

6 - Siete Torino.NET. Si parlerà solo di .NET?
No!

Over CoderDojo

OpenClaw: Making it useful

Dublin, 🇮🇪 Ireland

Your OpenClaw is running. It replies. Maybe it's done a few things you've asked it to.
Now make it genuinely useful.

NOTE: Registration invalid on meetup. Please register on here for a valid ticket: www.giveago.co/register/openclaw2

This is the second day in the OpenClaw series. We're going deeper: memory that actually persists across conversations, a knowledge base it can draw on, skills that connect it to the tools you already use, and workflows that handle a whole process end to end. These are the things that turn an interesting agent into something you actually rely on.
Self-directed, table-group format. You work at your own pace, in your own direction, with people around you doing the same.

What we'll work through together

  • Memory architecture: short-term, long-term, episodic and how to set them up properly
  • Knowledge bases: connecting your own docs and notes so the agent can draw on them
  • Good skills to add: which integrations are worth the effort (Notion, email, calendar, GitHub)
  • Giving access to tools: MCP, APIs, function calling
  • Proper workflows: multi-step, conditional, handling a whole process and not just one message
  • Sandboxing: running actions safely without breaking things or leaking data

NOTE: Registration invalid on meetup. Please register on here for a valid ticket: www.giveago.co/register/openclaw2

You don't need to have come to Event 1. If you have OpenClaw running, you're ready for this.
Bring a laptop. Bring your OpenClaw running.

Run of show
🕙 11:00 Doors open, coffee
💬 11:30 Where is everyone at: quick round the room

CoderDojo LLN - 21/6/2026

Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, 🇧🇪 Belgium

C’est pourquoi CoderDojo n’a qu’une règle : « Above all : be cool ! »

Informations pratiques
