AI in Food
About this event
Join researchers, industry experts, and innovators to envision how AI will reshape food research and innovation.
For researchers, industry professionals, start-ups, investors, SFNV partners, and anyone interested in the future role of AI in food systems.
Artificial intelligence is changing not only what we research, but also how research itself is conducted. From analyzing soils and agricultural inputs to profiling ingredients and accelerating product development, AI is creating new opportunities across the food and agricultural value chain. At the same time, it raises important questions around data ownership, scientific integrity, transparency, and the responsible use of emerging technologies.
In this workshop, we will explore how AI is reshaping research and innovation across food systems. Bringing together perspectives from academia, AI research, industry, venture capital, and start-ups, the workshop will examine where AI is already creating value, which research bottlenecks it can help overcome, and how scientific breakthroughs can be translated into real-world impact.
Through expert insights and discussion, participants will gain a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with AI-enabled research. Participants will hear how AI is changing food and agricultural science from multiple perspectives including the laboratory, the field, the startup ecosystem, the investment community, and industry. Together, they will reflect on how researchers, organizations, and innovators can adapt as these technologies continue to mature.
This workshop will be held in English.
In collaboration with the Swiss Food & Nutrition Valley (SFNV).
PLEASE BOOK ONLY ONE WORKSHOP TO ALLOW OTHER PARTICIPANTS TO JOIN AS WELL.
