➡️ From AI-DLC to Intent-to-Spec: An Honest Story of Multi-Agent Modernization on Bedrock AgentCore
The AI-DLC whitepaper paints a future where AI agents own the SDLC end-to-end: brief in, working software out, no humans between. We took that seriously and started building it on AWS. What we shipped is not AI-DLC as the whitepaper describes, but something narrower and more useful: an intent-to-spec gateway. A multi-agent pipeline that turns a business intent and a legacy codebase into a deterministic, traceable modernization spec, then hands it to a code-generation engine.
We walk through the architecture: five agents on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, prescriptive templates, Knowledge Base grounding against company standards, and a mechanical traceability chain from use case to test method. We share where we stepped back from full automation, where the discipline has to live outside the LLM, and what we'd do differently. You'll leave with a concrete pattern for spec-first AI modernization and an honest map of where the AI-DLC promise still has gaps.
🎤 Artur Rudzinski - Senior Cloud Architect, SoftServe
Senior AWS Cloud Architect at SoftServe with 15+ years across telecom and cloud. Started at Nokia Siemens Networks Poland, then spent several years in Thailand supporting global customers across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America. Returned to Poland in 2018 to move into AWS Cloud Architecture at Nordcloud (an IBM company) and joined SoftServe in 2021, delivering cloud solutions for US East enterprise clients. AWS Gold Jacket holder (all active AWS certifications). MSc in Control Engineering and Robotics, Wrocław University of Technology.
➡️ Modern Application Security on AWS: WAF, AI, and Beyond
A public-facing application suddenly experiences a massive surge in traffic. At first glance, it looks like success. In reality, it's a mix of bot traffic, malicious requests and attempted exploitation of common web vulnerabilities. How do you identify the threat, protect the application and prevent it from happening again?
In this session, we'll walk through a real-world AWS security scenario and build a practical defense strategy using AWS-native services. Starting with AWS WAF, we'll explore managed rules, rate limiting, bot protection and custom controls to defend against common attacks. We'll also cover data protection with AWS KMS and demonstrate how modern AI-powered capabilities can improve threat detection and response. You'll leave with practical configurations, security best practices and actionable techniques you can apply right away to secure production workloads on AWS.
🎤 Hovhannes Mikayelyan - Senior DevOps Engineer, Grid Dynamics | AWS Community Builder
Co-organizer of AWS Community Days Armenia 2024 and 2025, actively sharing knowledge, running events and keeping the momentum going in the local tech scene. Has worked across cloud infrastructure and configuration management: cutting deployment times, boosting performance and building tools that make life easier for teams. Certified by AWS and HashiCorp, and teaches AWS in Armenian to make cloud tech more accessible to the local community. Outside of work: hiking, music and staying curious.
