Applying AI Events in Dublin 8

"AI research" and "AI in production" are two pretty different worlds at this point. This page collects events from the production side: how teams integrate LLMs into real products, build agents that are worth trusting, wire up RAG pipelines that don't quietly hallucinate, and ship Copilot-style features without breaking the rest of the app. Agentic coding is a particularly active thread right now, with dedicated meetups and studios popping up across the continent.

This page narrows the Dublin 8 calendar to Applying AI events. It's a subset of Ireland's wider tech-event schedule, useful when you want something specific to go to in the city this month.

Ideas On Tap #5 (Lectures In Pubs)

Dublin 8, 🇮🇪 Ireland

Join us for a chat about ideas while having a pint. Meet new people, learn about new things and try something different

PLEASE NOTE WE EXPECT THIS TO SELLOUT FAST, WHEN TICKETS ARE GONE - THEY ARE GONE!

Brain devices have moved out of the lab and into the marketplace as wearables. And they are connected to A.I. to make sense of our mental and emotional activity. What are the implications of this and are there opportunities to solve some big problems? Senior Learning Technologist, Greg O'Brien will explore this fascinating application of A.I., happening, not in the future, but right now.

Something different to do in Ireland?

Come spend an evening in the pub listening to fascinating talks, meeting interesting people, and diving into ideas you probably won’t hear anywhere else.

Every event features a different speaker and theme, covering everything from science, history, psychology, philosophy, politics, film, Irish culture, and bizarre internet rabbit holes to cinema breakdowns, existential questions, and strange moments from history.

One night could be about Dublin history, cult movies, or the psychology of personality. Another could explore black holes, political movements, philosophy, true crime, science fiction, or the weird side of human behaviour.

After each talk there’s a live Q&A, drinks, conversation, and a chance to meet new people who are curious about the world and up for a good night out that’s a little different from the usual pub routine.

AI Agents Do Everything — Don't Just Imitate, Automate

Dublin 8, 🇮🇪 Ireland

A morning full of demo's and use cases to blow your mind with AI Agents and agentic automation from from Cowork to Hermes and OpenClaw

Beyond ChatGPT: Build AI Agents That Save Hours Every Week

RandTrad Consulting welcomes you to a packed morning on the next stage of AI evolution : Agents for your office.

Enda Rochford is one of Ireland's leading AI training consultants, and in this session he'll walk you through the technology, the options, the use cases, and the live demonstrations that will get you started on your path to automating the boring stuff and adding time to your day for the important things.

The morning is broken into four training blocks:

Block 1: Single-Use Agents

Custom GPTs, Custom Gems, and system prompts: The simplest AI tool that does one job well. Where most businesses should start.

Block 2: Workflow Mapping & Loop Engineering

Triggers, cron jobs, and live workflow demos. Turning one-off AI tasks into automated pipelines that run whether you remember or not.

Block 3: The Platforms

From Copilot to Claude CoWork and everything in between. How the major platforms compare live, with a clear recommendation on which fits your business.

Block 4: The Harness

From OpenClaw to Hermes : What an agent actually is, and what full autonomy looks like. The deep end. You might not need it, but you should know it exists.

Every block is demoed live, not on slides. All attendees receive a detailed digital pack — prompt templates, workflow mapping guides, platform comparison sheets, and QR codes to get started.

Enda's talks are always quick to sell, so make use of the August early-bird tickets before we hit that September rush.

Ticket Types

Early Bird — €165

Available for the first 25 seats or until 28 August 2026, whichever comes first.

Standard — €199

Available after early bird closes, up to the 50 seats total.

## FAQ

Is this in-person or online?

In-person, at the Guinness Enterprise Centre, Dublin 8. No livestream — the demos and networking are better face-to-face.

Do I need to be technical?

No. Blocks 1-3 are designed for non-technical business people. Block 4 gets technical, but it's a "watch and learn" segment, not a "follow along" one.

I've already used ChatGPT or Copilot — is this too basic?

Not at all. Block 1 covers how to turn what you already have into a purpose-built tool. Block 2 introduces workflow automation most people haven't seen. Block 3 compares three platforms most are choosing between right now. Block 4 shows infrastructure most businesses don't know exists. If you're using ChatGPT for text generation, you're at the starting line; This session shows you the track.

Will there be a recording?

No. This is a live, in-person event. Come for the demos, the Q&A, and the networking. Keep and eye out for more sessions from RandTrad and Enda in the future.

What do I get in the digital pack?

System prompt templates, Custom GPT and Gemini Gem setup guides, a workflow mapping template, a loop engineering cheat sheet, a platform comparison sheet, a Springbase referral link, an EU AI Act quick reference, and a practical "where do I start" framework. All branded, all printable, delivered within 48 hours of the event.

Is there parking at the GEC?

The GEC is in Dublin 8, well-served by public transport. Limited street parking available. Luas Red Line to James's Street is a 5-minute walk. Thomas Street Carpark is 5 minutes away also.

Who's presenting?

Enda Rochford — AI Conslutant at Randtrad and CMG Events, and AI Automation Consultant with Kimber. Enda has delivered AI training to hundreds of Irish public sector and private sector professionals, with a focus on practical, compliant, EU-aligned AI adoption.
