Game Development Events in Lisbon

European game development splits between two rhythms: the big annual anchor conferences (Gamescom and Devcom in Cologne, Reboot Develop in Dubrovnik, Nordic Game in Malmö, Develop:Brighton, Game Access in Brno, Game Connection Paris, FÍS Games Summit in Ireland, Slovenia Games Meetup) and the month-by-month community rhythm of engine-specific meetups (Godot Stammtisch, Unreal Engine sessions), GameDev meetups, playtest nights, game jams, and studio open evenings in the cities with working industries behind them.

This page narrows the Lisbon calendar to Game Development events. It's a subset of Portugal's wider tech-event schedule, useful when you want something specific to go to in the city this month.

Lisbon's tech-event calendar has grown fast. Web Summit each November anchors the year and pulls an enormous international founder-and-investor crowd into the city. In between, there's a dense week-by-week rhythm of meetups covering AI-applied, software engineering, product, design, and the startup ecosystem that continues to expand with remote-first teams relocating here.
