🇵🇹 Tech Events in Portugal
Lisbon runs Portugal's densest tech-event calendar, supercharged by Web Summit and the startup inflow of the last several years. Porto, Braga, and the wider country sustain a growing remote-work-adjacent event scene. Active cities on Brainberg right now include Lisbon, Porto, Carcavelos, and Loures. Brainberg aggregates listings from multiple event platforms and community calendars into a single European feed, so the full schedule for the country shows up in one chronological view instead of spread across separate platforms.

Agentes de IA
Lisbon, 🇵🇹 Portugal

In our session, we’re going to do a deep dive on the Metrics That Matter and how to deliver more product value and ROI from the investment your company has made in your PM team.
But more than merely listening to a talk about it, we will roll up our sleeves and do an interactive exercise that shows you how.
We will introduce some common business metrics categories and use the Solution Tree (‘How Might We’) model to plan our product features. And we’ll have some fun in the process!
We’ll wrap up with Q&A, networking, and drinks with the ProductTank Porto community.

The Engineering Managers Support Group
Porto, 🇵🇹 Portugal
Sword Health and Leadcraft present: The Engineering Managers Support Group
📅 May 18, 18h30 📍 Sword Health, Porto
Looking for the one true guide to perfect engineering management? You won't find it here.
Engineering management sits at the intersection of code, product strategy, and human dynamics. Most of the time, we're winging it. There's no silver bullet, no playbook that works for everyone in every situation, and it can get lonely.
So what's the best we can do? Learn from each other.
That's why we're hosting the Engineering Managers Support Group, a peer-to-peer meetup designed to pull us out of our silos and into a space of honest conversation.
How it works
Forget keynote speakers and slide decks. We're keeping it simple and human. You'll break into groups of ~6 to tackle the reality of day-to-day work. This is not a passive event: expect to participate, share, and engage with others.
The session has two parts:
Part 1: The Struggle
Go around the table and share the challenges you're currently wrestling with. Constant context switching, endless meetings, team frustration, tech debt, imposter syndrome. Everything is on the table.
Part 2: The Toolkit
Pivot to problem solving. Share what has actually worked for you. Tools, frameworks, scripts, conversations. Whatever has helped you navigate these waters.
We'll close by sharing conclusions across the room, then enjoy some pizza and beer.
Why attend
Hopefully, you will walk away with a wider set of approaches to use in your day-to-day, but mostly with the comfort of knowing that you aren't the only one struggling with these problems.

The More Workshop x Mucho: Looking at the Infrared | 28º Festival CCP
Lisbon, 🇵🇹 Portugal
by Marc Català, cofounder and creative director at Mucho (Barcelona)
All brand problems are story problems. Story problems happen, because presuppositions go unquestioned. Challenge assumptions, and suddenly, new possibilities appear. What was once unthinkable, turns into innovation. What seemed impossible, appears doable. To look at the infrared is to look beyond what is visible. To see what is questionable.
Welcome to the More Workshop by Mucho, an workshop based on Socratic Design, a methodology Mucho has applied to its branding processes. The workshop is produced by More, the brand design executive program that Mucho has created.
Look beyond what you know, and learn to see More.

Talk Design Systems by LBC Digital | 28º Festival CCP
Lisbon, 🇵🇹 Portugal
Lemos as notícias que marcam a atualidade. Estudamos. Procuramos emprego. Descobrimos novos relacionamentos amorosos.

Human Entities 2026: Paris Marx
Lisbon, 🇵🇹 Portugal
Recuperar a soberania digital / Reclaiming Digital Sovereignty
[English below]
Recuperar a soberania digital

Reclaiming Digital Sovereignty
For several decades, we’ve allowed ourselves to become deeply dependent on US technologies, platforms, and digital services. The alliance between Silicon Valley and the Trump administration has shown us how that choice hasn't just made us vulnerable; it’s now empowering anti-democratic and authoritarian forces. Paris Marx will discuss how we became so dependent on US tech and what it might look like to chart of different course. Getting off US tech won’t be easy, but it presents an opportunity to reimagine how we use digital technology for the better.
