From Demo to Production: AI Agent Automations That Don't Break

Building an AI agent that works in a demo takes an afternoon. Making it work on Monday: with real data, real customers and no surprises, is a different story. And before writing a single line of code, there's a question most teams skip: is this process actually worth automating?
This session covers the full path, from business process to agent in production. We'll start by mapping a real process, extracting its requirements, assessing whether it's a good candidate for AI automation and defining the metrics that will tell us if it succeeded. Then we'll build it with Gemini: connecting the model to business tools through MCP, orchestrating it in a hybrid workflow where a human approves the critical steps, and measuring the results with evals and traces against the metrics we set at the start. We'll also break it on purpose (including a prompt injection) to see how guardrails hold up.
Attendees will work on a process from their own context and leave with a reusable method, a starter project and a process-assessment canvas.
