Description:
This is a part of a year-long series of events dedicated to writing a robot simulator in python from scratch. During each event we would discuss the design of our custom simulator and work together on the implementation of its components as well as some of the required math. The idea is to plan and execute this project together.

Whether you're just starting out with python or looking to sharpen your skills, this project is a practical and friendly way to grow as a developer while building something exciting from the ground up. This is a relaxed, no-pressure event -- you're welcome to participate as much or as little as you like, whether you're coding, collaborating, or just hanging out and observing.

Location:
Events would be held at 3 Rue des Pins, Grenoble (5th floor of Arc en Ciel building 3). Office of Manabiya.

Durante l’esperienza, i partecipanti lavoreranno su un progetto introduttivo che li aiuterà a comprendere i fondamenti del coding in Python, stimolando creatività e logica. 🐍💡

Ogni giorno affrontiamo conversazioni in cui le posta in gioco è alta, le opinioni divergono e le emozioni rischiano di prendere il sopravvento. Spesso evitiamo queste conversazioni — o le gestiamo male — con conseguenze costose per le relazioni e per i risultati.

Questo workshop insegna a trasformare quelle conversazioni difficili in occasioni di comprensione reciproca e di cambiamento reale. Partendo dal modello di Crucial Conversations, i partecipanti sperimentano in prima persona le tecniche attraverso esercizi pratici e momenti di riflessione.

Most evenings see a group of about 10 people (there is an additional whatsapp list). Bring your laptop if you want to program microcontrollers! We ask for a voluntary donation of €5,55 per evening to maintain the inventory with equipment and electrical components.

This two hour adult workshop introduces the fundamentals of everyday electronics in a clear, supportive, and hands-on environment. Participants will learn how simple circuits work, how to safely use a soldering iron, and practice making basic electronic connections. The session also covers essential practical skills including how to change a fuse and how to correctly wire a plug, with a focus on safety and understanding rather than memorization. Ideal for beginners, hobbyists, and anyone who wants to feel more confident working with basic electronics at home or in creative projects.

Synopsis
In this talk, Nick Farina will walk through the many opportunities available in the quantum technology ecosystem for people from all different walks of life and backgrounds. He will also go over a brief primer of the different types of quantum technology and their expected timelines and impact on the world.
Speaker Bio
Nick Farina is the CEO of EeroQ Corporation, a Chicago-based company building quantum computers using a unique method compatible with the same development process as today's phones and computers. Founded in 2017, EeroQ is a leader in the quantum field and Nick has led the company since inception. He has been an invited speaker at The Aspen Institute, University of Sherbrooke, IQT, and many more events. Prior to EeroQ, Nick founded Scholar Ventures, the largest software management companies for honor societies, which he merged with the largest collegiate honor society in the world. Bio: David began his career at Fujitsu Telecommunications in Belfast in 1999 as a firmware engineer, working on backbone telecoms devices. He then moved to Schrader Electronics working on automotive TPMS, before transitioning into asset tracking telematics. He is now part of Xirgo Technologies, continuing to develop IoT telematics devices. David spends the majority of his time swearing at cellular modems.

Title: Ditch the Distro: Building Real IoT Products with Zephyr RTOS
Description: The IoT demo landscape is dominated by Linux-based devices: powerful, familiar, and fast to prototype with, but often carrying hidden costs when the time comes to ship a real product.
Managing a Linux OS at scale, including updates, security patches, and configuration drift, introduces complexity that has nothing to do with your actual product problem.
David will explore how Zephyr RTOS offers a compelling alternative: a purpose-built, open-source RTOS with a growing ecosystem, designed from the ground up for constrained, connected devices. Drawing on real-world experience shipping IoT telematics products, he’ll look at what Zephyr gets right and where the interesting challenges still lie.

Wat kun je verwachten

• Show and Tell: Heb je wat leuks geprint? Neem het vooral mee om het te laten zien of misschien om feedback te vragen.
• Probleemoplossing: Problemen met je 3D printer? Neem hem mee en misschien kunnen andere je helpen het probleem op te lossen. Iets meenemen is niet verplicht, maar het is meestal de start van een goed gesprek.
• Presentaties en Workshops: Wil je een presentatie geven of een workshop organiseren? De meetup biedt een platform voor iedereen om kennis te delen. Bespreek van tevoren met de locatie als je extra apparatuur nodig hebt.

De meetup is gratis en open voor iedereen. Voor de pizza vragen we een bijdragen van €15, daar krijg je ook 2 gratis drankjes bij. Er is tevens een systeem aanwezig om je eigen tegoed op te zetten voor meer drankjes of andere snacks.

Are you interested in 3D printing? Whether you have yet to buy your first 3D printer or already have an entire print farm, the 3D Print & Pizza Meetup is the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and share your passion. Everyone with an interest in 3D printing is welcome!

What to expect

• Show and Tell: Have you printed something cool? Feel free to bring it along to show it off or maybe ask for feedback.
• Troubleshooting: Having problems with your 3D printer? Bring it along, and maybe others can help you solve the issue. Bringing something is not mandatory, but it often starts a good conversation.
• Presentations and Workshops: Want to give a presentation or organize a workshop? The meetup offers a platform for everyone to share knowledge. Discuss with the venue in advance if you need any extra equipment.

The meetup is free and open to all. For the pizza we ask you for a small contribution of €15, this includes 2 free drinks. There is also a system available to deposit money and get additional drinks or snacks.

Robotics - with a CRAFT twist of course! Using platforms like LEGO Spike, MakeCode, perhaps some VR, and of course some maker centered creative builds, the children will design, build and programme their own creations while developing confidence in problem-solving and computational thinking, bringing ideas to life through technology.
