Engineering Leadership Events in London

Events for engineering managers, CTOs, product leaders, and the people running technical teams sit in their own category. There's enough specific content for senior-plus practitioners that putting it under "software engineering" would bury it. This page tracks conferences and meetups aimed at the people leading the work rather than doing it directly.

This page narrows the London calendar to Engineering Leadership events. It's a subset of United Kingdom's wider tech-event schedule, useful when you want something specific to go to in the city this month.

London has one of the largest single-city tech-event calendars in the world. Every major engineering discipline sustains multiple monthly meetups here (AI-applied, ML research, backend, frontend, cloud, DevOps, security, data), and every major international conference has a London edition or satellite. Engineering leadership is unusually strong: LeadDev London is effectively a pilgrimage event, and CTO Craft, staff-engineer communities, and product-management meetups (Mind The Product) run year-round.

The Strategy Gap: what separates good PMs from great product leaders

London, πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ United Kingdom

You're invited to our next Women in Product London event!

As product managers grow in their careers, one skill becomes increasingly important: strategy.

For this event, we’re bringing together product leaders from a range of industries and company stages to share how they approach product vision and strategy in practice: what it really means to be strategic, how you develop strategic thinking over time, and why it often becomes the defining skill that separates good PMs from great product leaders.

Some of the topics will include how to develop stronger strategic thinking as you progress in your career, how to influence organisations through vision and direction, and real-world examples of turning high-level strategy into meaningful product outcomes.

The evening will give you the opportunity to network with your peers over drinks and canapΓ©s before and after our speakers take the stage. Join us for a mix of insightful presentations where you'll take away practical insights from experienced product leaders and have the chance to ask questions throughout the event.
