Software Engineering Events in Cork
This is the widest category on Brainberg, because software engineering itself spans a huge range of events: language user groups (Python, Rust, Go, TypeScript, Kotlin, Elixir, Ruby, Zig), framework communities (React, Svelte, Next.js, Vue, Laravel, Django, NixOS), backend architecture tracks, testing and QA tracks (ISTQB certification courses, mutation testing, test-automation workshops), refactoring and DDD circles, hackathons, and the long tail of "thoughtful engineering" meetups that don't fit neatly under any specific stack.
This page narrows the Cork calendar to Software Engineering events. It's a subset of Ireland's wider tech-event schedule, useful when you want something specific to go to in the city this month.

Maker Night - Work on 3D projects using laser cutter, 3D Printer at TOG
Cork, 🇮🇪 Ireland
Do you like to make things? Would you like to use 3D software, lasercutter and 3D printing to help you make your idea?
TOG has an open evening to learn how CAD software and 3D fabrication tools can help you make your project.
All you need to take part is your own laptop and some ideas on what you want to make.
This is not a taught class, more like an informal working group of self-directed makers.
We will be happy to help you explore how to use our 3D tools in designing and making your project whether you are a crafter, designer, engineer or hobbyist.
Come and have a look at the tools in our space and get some ideas on how your project can be made.

Cork, 🇮🇪 Ireland
It's National Bike Week from Saturday 9th – Sunday 17th May 2026. Join us at Tog on the afternoon of Saturday 16th May from 3pm, for a bicycle maintenance and advice meetup. Many of us at Tog are keen cyclists and e-bikers. Tinkering with our bikes is business-as-usual for us.
We have plenty of tools at Tog to do most basic bicycle maintenance, cleaning, lubrication & adjusting. Even if your bike is running well and you just want to pop in for a bit of advice, we'd be delighted to see you.
We'll be continuing our Saturday from 7pm that same day with our regular monthly Open Social event. You're welcome to stick around or drop back in later. Expect the usual pizza, good chat and craic.... and of course we'll be willing to talk all things cycling.
