Digital Products Don't Build Themselves (Yet) - Epicenter Amsterdam

Thu 26 Nov · 18:00 – 20:30
Amsterdam, 🇳🇱 Netherlands

About this event

Speed, quality and judgment when AI meets enterprise reality

Building a prototype with AI is one thing. Getting a product into the hands of customers, inside a business with existing systems, teams and responsibilities, asks something different.

Where does AI actually speed up product development? Where does the work move rather than disappear? And who decides when something is good enough to ship?

Epicenter and DNA.inc are bringing together product, engineering and AI practitioners to examine those decisions through work they have actually done. The conversation will focus on established organizations: products already in use, systems that cannot simply be replaced, and teams expected to change how they work while continuing to deliver.

We'll look at what happens to quality when delivery gets faster, which decisions still need human judgment, and how product and engineering roles change as AI becomes part of the work. Expect concrete examples, including limits and lessons from things that did not go to plan, with time for questions from the room.

For CTOs, product and engineering leaders, enterprise AI teams, and founders building for complex organizations. Come for the discussion and stay to compare notes with people facing similar decisions.

Co-hosted by Epicenter and DNA.inc. Moderated by Joey Bayer.

DISCUSSION POINTS

  • Where speed actually changes: what happens between an AI-assisted prototype and a product used by real customers?
  • Quality and release judgment: which reviews, tests and decisions can change, and which cannot?
  • The system around the product: what do legacy architecture, existing workflows and customer expectations prevent teams from simply replacing?
  • People and responsibility: how do roles and expertise change, and what concerns inside teams deserve to be taken seriously?
