🔐 За какво ще си говорим:
AI асистентите за програмиране (Cursor, Claude Code и др.) изпълняват произволни команди с пълните права на вашия потребител — четат личните ви файлове, пароли и SSH ключове и стигат навсякъде, докъдето стигате и вие в мрежата.

Динко ще ни покаже как с вградените инструменти на Linux — systemd, cgroups, nftables и BPF — е изградил стабилен sandbox, който му дава спокойствие в ежедневната работа: агентът работи свободно, той се възползва напълно от AI-асистираното програмиране, а опасният достъп е отрязан.

На живо ще разглобим клетката слой по слой, ще я счупим и поправим, а Python ще ни е „микроскопът“ — за инспекция на ядрото, наблюдение на трафика и pytest тестове, доказващи, че изолацията наистина държи.
Лекцията ще се проведе на български език.

🎤 За лектора:
Senior backend разработчик и консултант с над 15 години практически опит в целия спектър на IT — системна администрация, DevOps (още преди да стане модерна дума), тестване и автоматизация, софтуерна архитектура и техническо лидерство. В StorPool Динко е част от екипа Product Infrastructure, който изгражда системите около продукта — включително тестовата и release автоматизация, ежедневно изпитваща истински storage клъстери. Откакто AI агентите пишат код и в StorPool, опитомява и тях — откъдето се роди и темата на тази лекция. Извън IT го влече всичко на две колела (със и без двигател), планините и пианото.

💬 Topic: AI in Chains: Sandboxing AI Coding Agents on Linux

🔐 What we’ll be talking about:
AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) execute arbitrary commands with your user account’s full privileges—they read your personal files, passwords, and SSH keys, and can reach anything on the network that you can. Dinko will show us how he used Linux’s built-in tools—systemd, cgroups, nftables, and BPF—to build a robust sandbox that gives him peace of mind in his day-to-day work: the agent runs freely, he takes full advantage of AI-assisted coding, and dangerous access is blocked. In a live demo, we’ll take the cage apart layer by layer, break it, and fix it, with Python serving as our “microscope”—for kernel inspection, traffic monitoring, and pytest tests that prove the isolation really holds.
The talk will be delivered in Bulgarian.

🎤 About the speaker:
A senior backend developer and consultant with over 15 years of hands-on experience across the IT spectrum—system administration, DevOps (before it became a buzzword), testing and automation, software architecture, and technical leadership. At StorPool, Dinko is part of the Product Infrastructure team, which builds the systems around the product—including test and release automation that puts real storage clusters through their paces every day. Since AI agents started writing code at StorPool too, he’s been taming them as well—which is how the topic of this talk came about. Outside IT, he’s drawn to anything on two wheels (with or without an engine), the mountains, and the piano.

Vibe coding gets you a demo fast. It doesn't always get you code you can ship. This talk is about the gap between the two, and how to close it.

Join us on October 14 for an evening with Ivan Mihov, Senior Software Engineer at Nortal, who has used AI coding tools daily since ChatGPT launched in late 2022. He'll walk through how he actually works with agents like Claude Code, not by trusting every suggestion, but by directing the agent with a clear spec and checking its work at every step.

What we'll cover
Ivan will open with the line he sees as fundamental: vibe coding, where you lean on whatever the agent suggests, versus agentic engineering, where you direct it and check its work. That difference decides whether an agent speeds up good work or bad code.

From there, he'll break down what coding agents actually are as software systems, and how that changes the way you prompt them.

Then he'll build a small project live with Claude Code, using a spec-driven workflow so every change gets checked against a plan instead of reviewed after the fact.

He'll close on why human review still matters, and where skipping it costs more than it saves.

This talk is for software engineers who want a more disciplined way to work with agents, for developers who are skeptical of the hype and want the counter-case, for tech leads deciding how their team adopts these tools, and for technical PMs and product owners working close to engineering teams.
