Design Constraint Roulette: Spin. Sketch. Solve.
Eindhoven, 🇳🇱 Netherlands
What happens when the rules of a design challenge are decided by chance?
Join us for Design Constraint Roulette, a playful, hands-on meetup where we’ll turn unexpected limitations into creative possibilities. Working in small teams, you’ll spin for a user, a problem, and a surprise constraint—then race to sketch a solution before the rules change again.
Halfway through the challenge, every team will receive a twist that forces them to adapt. We’ll finish with quick pitches, friendly audience awards, and a conversation about how constraints can sharpen our thinking rather than restrict it.
No polished design skills or advance preparation are needed. Whether you’re an experienced designer, new to UX, or simply curious about creative problem-solving, you’re welcome. Just bring your curiosity and willingness to experiment.
What to bring: Yourself. A notebook or tablet is optional; basic sketching materials will be provided.

AI meetup : Agents Together @ AI Innovation Center
Eindhoven, 🇳🇱 Netherlands
AI meetup in the South!
Welcome all to a new AI meetup in Eindhoven, this time at the AI Innocation Center.
As with all AI native workflows how do you still involve humans in your agentic workflow and how do you share that information back to other humans ?
This meetup is made possible by CGI Eindhoven
The program will go as this:
• 17:00-18:00 Walk-in & dinner
• 18:00-18:05 Welcome
• 18:05-19:00 We've got GitHub Copilot at home by Mark Hu (ASML)
• 19:00-19:15 Break (coffee/thee)
• 19:15-20:15 Making PRs from the bathroom by Sjuul Jannsen (Arrakis Technologies)
• 20:15-21:00 Networking & drinks
1st Talk:
Title: We've got GitHub Copilot at home
Description:
Building integrated agents for internal source code management system for automating the ASML software development lifescycle.
Speaker: Mark Hu
2nd Talk:
Title: Making PRs from the bathroom
Description:
Sjuul works in an “applied AI" company. During a chat with an ex-colleague they were discussing being able to upload Claude chat history to a web server. One thing lead to another. Now there is a web platform where hosts his live terminal sessions (for harnesses like: claude, codex, opencode) in the same browser UI with Agent-To-Agent communication. Lets re-imagine how teamwork works when you can tell your agent to align with your colleagues agent on common interfaces. And meanwhile we can geek a bit about technology.
Speaker: Sjuul Jannsen

Software Quality as a System
Eindhoven, 🇳🇱 Netherlands
Why your software quality problem is probably not a code quality problem
Organizations invest heavily in better software quality. Code reviews, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, static analysis, architecture reviews, agile processes, metrics and dashboards. And still, quality problems persist.
So perhaps the problem is not where we usually look.
What if software quality is not primarily a code quality problem?
What if it is not even primarily a testing problem?
What if software quality is an emergent property of the system that creates the software?
On 17 November, Ger Cloudt, author of What is Software Quality? and The 1+3 Software Quality Model, will join the ICT Knowledge Hub for an interactive evening on Software Quality as a System. During the session, he will introduce the 1+3 Software Quality Model, a framework that views software quality through four connected domains: Organizational Quality as the enabling system, and Design Quality, Code Quality and Product Quality as the resulting qualities.
Together, we will use the model to explore:
- Why many quality improvement initiatives fail to create lasting change;
- Whether quality problems usually originate in code, design, product decisions or the wider organization;
- Why leadership behaviour may have more impact on quality than technical practices alone;
- How testers, developers, architects, product owners and managers can recognise systemic quality issues earlier;
- Whether tooling, culture, strategy, skills or code are the real bottlenecks in your context.
Most importantly, we will challenge the model using your own experience.
Bring your strongest opinions, your biggest quality failures and your toughest questions. You may leave with a completely different view of software quality.
Programme:
17.00 - 17.30h - Walk-in
17.30 - 18.15h - Light dinner
18.15 - 21.30h - Interactive session with Ger Cloudt
20.30 - 21.00h - Drinks and informal discussion
Who should join?
This evening is relevant for testers, test managers, developers, software architects, product owners, quality leads, engineering managers, requirements specialists and anyone involved in building, testing or improving software-intensive systems.
You do not need to be an expert in software quality models. Curiosity, practical experience and a willingness to join the conversation are enough.
ICT Knowledge Hub
ICT Knowledge Hub is a series of interactive theme evenings where we explore modern system development together. From testing to requirements, from software quality to Domain-Driven Design and Living Documentation: each event offers space for reflection, practical experience and open discussion.
We invite speakers from the field and from academia, and offer a platform to people with something valuable to share. The goal is not to sell a method or promote a tool, but to strengthen the community by learning together.
Come for the knowledge, stay for the conversation.
Stack and Tap
Eindhoven, 🇳🇱 Netherlands
Stack & Tap
Tech talks en goed bier voor developers
Beschrijving
Talk 1: Swaana Snorradottir (Nationale Nederlanden)
Agentic development promises to change how we build software, but the reality is more interesting, and messier, than the hype suggests. I’ll share our journey within NN so far, including a live look at MAC, what we’ve learned, what actually works, and the questions we’re still figuring out.
Talk 2: Wouter van Oorschot (Foreside)
Building the intake of the future
The intake of the future adapts itself to the customer. Dynz is an open-source, AI-native technology used within NN to build dynamic, rule-driven forms from a single schema. In this talk we’ll show how it works and what we learned running it in production.
