Programma
17.30 uur - 18.45 uur: Inloop en eten
18.45 uur - 19.45 uur: Talk Miguel Lopes: The burden of a platform engineer // Documentation
19.45 uur - … : Napraten & Borrel

Talk Miguel Lopes – The burden of a platform engineer // Documentation
Every platform team says the same thing: the docs are always behind. This talk is about treating documentation as part of the platform, not something you deal with later. The same approach also works for AI agents: lean, well-structured docs mean they use far fewer tokens. You'll leave with lessons you can apply to any team, tool or stack.

About Miguel:
Miguel is a tech enthusiast since the Intel 8086 and who got charmed by open source since high school. Now an acting manager who still can't resist the terminal, leading the Cloud Native Platforms tribe at Devoteam NL and tinkering with his homelab in the after hours.

Locatie:

(https://publuu.com/flip-book/371639/861484/page/2)

We hopen jullie in grote getalen te morgen verwelkomen. Je kan gratis aanmelden. Tot dan!

DevPort:

Do you identify as a woman, and are learning how to code, or would you like to help other women who are learning? Come to Women's Coding Club!

We will get together to practice our coding skills. This is not a class – it's time and space to work (and network!). You can work on coding homework for a course, work on a personal coding project, or get started on a new project with others. Don't know what to work on? We have plenty of ideas and can help you pick a project or course that suits your current level! And you can always work on your portfolio!

Use these three hours to work on your coding skills, ask questions, get motivated by working with others who are learning how to code, build up your network of women coders, and get inspired!

This meeting is hosted in collaboration with Maakplaats010 in the Central Library. It's on the 3rd floor, in the area with the chessboards and the green wall. Feel free to walk in and out at any time between 11:00 and 14:00!

All levels & all coding languages are welcome. Bring your own laptop.

We usually speak English at this meetup, but the organizer (Maaike) also speaks Dutch. And if you want to practice your Dutch, that is of course also encouraged!

WordPress Meetup 010

Talk1 - Fellyph Cintra - WebMCP and the Agentic Web
What if your website could tell an AI agent exactly what it can do?
AI agents are opening up new ways to navigate websites and perform tasks online. What does that mean for the websites we build—and how do we keep people in control?

WebMCP
WebMCP is a proposal to help websites communicate their capabilities to AI agents, making it easier for agents to understand which actions are available.
Using examples in WordPress Playground, Fellyph will explore how this could change the way we interact with web applications and what it could mean for WordPress developers and site builders.

What you’ll explore

• What WebMCP proposes and how it connects websites with AI agents.
• Practical examples using WordPress Playground.
• Where to start experimenting and what precautions to consider.
• How you can contribute to the proposal as it evolves.

If you build WordPress websites, develop plugins, or want to understand how AI agents might interact with your projects, this talk offers a practical starting point.
