SecTalks takes place at the CIC innovation community - and part of the Venture Cafe Rotterdam gathering which is now (temporarily?) on halt.

Doors for SecTalks open at 17:30 we have drinks (and some snacks). SecTalks session starts at 18:30. If you are there earlier, drop a line so we can connect and socialize more.

Do you identify as a woman, and are learning how to code, or would you like to help other women who are learning? Come to Women's Coding Club!

We will get together to practice our coding skills. This is not a class – it's time and space to work (and network!). You can work on coding homework for a course, work on a personal coding project, or get started on a new project with others. Don't know what to work on? We have plenty of ideas and can help you pick a project that suits your current level! And you can always work on your portfolio ;)

Use these three hours to work on your coding skills, ask questions, get motivated by working with others who are learning how to code, build up your network of women coders, and get inspired!

This meeting is hosted in collaboration with Maakplaats010 in the Central Library. It's on the 3rd floor. Feel free to walk in and out at any time between 11:00 and 14:00!

All levels & all coding languages are welcome. Bring your own laptop.

At this meetup we will be speaking English, but the organizer (Maaike) also speaks Dutch for whoever needs it.

Session 1 – Turbocharge your pipelines: Practical tips and tricks for Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions

• Templating – Build reusable, modular, and maintainable pipelines
• Speed optimization – Reduce execution time on hosted agents
• Software provisioning – Install and manage tools on your agents without slowing down your pipeline

He’ll also cover powerful but often underused features in both Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. Whether you're a DevOps engineer or developer, you'll walk away with practical insights you can apply the next day.

Session 2 – Getting started with Ethical Hacking

Speaker: Christian Peeters
Abstract:
Hacks, data breaches, ransomware… you keep hearing about it in the news. To effectively protect your business and/or software, you need to know where the vulnerabilities are. And what better way to find out than by attempting to hack yourself?
In this session, we will explore how hackers operate and which tools you can use to hack (your own) applications. Additionally, we will examine the most common types of vulnerabilities, how to practice exploiting them, and what measures can be taken to prevent them.
With the rise of AI a whole new attack surface has emerged – how is it being used to hack?
Last but not least, Christian will share tips on keeping your colleagues alert by applying social engineering.

Ben je geïnteresseerd in 3D printen? Of je nu je eerste 3D-printer nog moet kopen of al een hele print farm hebt, de 3D Print & Pizza Meetup is de perfecte gelegenheid om gelijkgestemden te ontmoeten en je passie te delen. Iedereen met een interesse voor 3D printen is welkom!

Wat kun je verwachten

• Show and Tell: Heb je wat leuks geprint? Neem het vooral mee om het te laten zien of misschien om feedback te vragen.
• Probleemoplossing: Problemen met je 3D printer? Neem hem mee en misschien kunnen andere je helpen het probleem op te lossen. Iets meenemen is niet verplicht, maar het is meestal de start van een goed gesprek.
• Presentaties en Workshops: Wil je een presentatie geven of een workshop organiseren? De meetup biedt een platform voor iedereen om kennis te delen. Bespreek van tevoren met de locatie als je extra apparatuur nodig hebt.

De meetup is gratis en open voor iedereen. Voor de pizza vragen we een bijdragen van €15, daar krijg je ook 2 gratis drankjes bij. Er is tevens een systeem aanwezig om je eigen tegoed op te zetten voor meer drankjes of andere snacks.

3D print & pizza wordt in principe gehouden op de eerste donderdag van de maand. Hackerspace Pixelbar (Rotterdam) en Hackerspace Bitlair (Amersfoort) wisselen elkaar af om de meetup te organiseren.

Are you interested in 3D printing? Whether you have yet to buy your first 3D printer or already have an entire print farm, the 3D Print & Pizza Meetup is the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and share your passion. Everyone with an interest in 3D printing is welcome!

What to expect

• Show and Tell: Have you printed something cool? Feel free to bring it along to show it off or maybe ask for feedback.
• Troubleshooting: Having problems with your 3D printer? Bring it along, and maybe others can help you solve the issue. Bringing something is not mandatory, but it often starts a good conversation.
• Presentations and Workshops: Want to give a presentation or organize a workshop? The meetup offers a platform for everyone to share knowledge. Discuss with the venue in advance if you need any extra equipment.

The meetup is free and open to all. For the pizza we ask you for a small contribution of €15, this includes 2 free drinks. There is also a system available to deposit money and get additional drinks or snacks.

The 3D print & pizza usually takes places on the first Thursday of the month. Hackerspace Pixelbar (Rotterdam) and Hackerspace Bitlair (Amersfoort) alternate organizing the meetup at their location.
