Open Source == Open Doors | Celebrate Hacktoberfest with Arcady!

In October, Arcady celebrates Hacktoberfest: an online, community-driven event where developers from around the world contribute to Open Source Software.
The entire digital world relies on open source – more than 99% of all software ever built depends on open source components.
Hacktoberfest began eleven years ago to raise awareness about open source software. Engineers are encouraged to make at least four contributions to open source projects.
These contributions can be anything from a small bug fix, a new feature, or even writing a piece of documentation—anything that adds value to the community.
At Arcady, every developer uses thousands of open source building blocks daily to create new software. That’s why we invite you to take on the Hacktoberfest challenge!

And yes, it was a no-brainer to host OPEN SOURCE == OPEN DOORS on the evening of Thursday, October 8th (and Thursday October 15th)! You are warmly invited to join us at our office for an evening of fun, networking, and coding!
A number of Arcadians will be present, working on their Hacktoberfest contributions, guided by experienced Open Source contributors. The evening will be relaxed and informal – feel free to come and go as you please. Just interested in grabbing a drink and having a good conversation? You're welcome too!

Welkom bij de Zwolse WordPress Meetup. Een informele bijeenkomst om mede-WordPressers te ontmoeten en kennis te delen.

Kom langs met problemen en vragen over je WordPress website of om anderen te helpen. Beter nog, allebei!
Samen proberen we tot oplossingen te komen of elkaar in de juiste richting te wijzen.

- Heb je vragen over je website? Neem bij voorkeur je laptop en de benodigde inloggegevens mee.
- We zitten in het MAAKpunt van Stadkamer Centrum, geopend van 18:45 tot 20:55.
- Stadkamer Centrum is geopend van 09:00 tot 21:00. Consumpties zijn niet inbegrepen; deze kun je eventueel zelf halen bij de horeca.
- Na afloop doen we vaak nog een drankje in de binnenstad (op loopafstand), voor wie wil.
➡️ Locatie & vervoer
- Adres Stadkamer Centrum: Zeven Alleetjes 1a, 8011 CV Zwolle, zaal MAAKpunt.
- Met de auto kun je (betaald) parkeren op het naastgelegen parkeerterrein. Houd rekening met extra drukte door de koopavond op donderdag.
- Vanaf Station Zwolle is het circa 5 minuten lopen.
