Majoritatea vizitatorilor unui magazin online nu ajung pe homepage, ci direct pe pagina de produs, venind din Google sau din reclame. Acolo se decide, de multe ori, daca cumpara sau pleaca. La acest meetup vorbim despre ce lipseste, de fapt, din paginile de produs, cos si checkout ale majoritatii magazinelor WooCommerce si cum se repara, cu exemple concrete, nu doar teorie.

Mai multe detalii
Daniel Florea trece prin punctele care conteaza cel mai mult pentru conversie: pagina de produs (informatii de livrare, recenzii, recomandari relevante, comportament pe mobil), pagina de cos (actualizare automata, produse recomandate) si checkout-ul (ordinea campurilor, ce e cu adevarat necesar acolo si ce doar incurca clientul). Toate punctele vin din experienta directa de lucru cu magazine WooCommerce, nu din liste generice preluate de pe internet.

Cum se desfasoara auditul
La finalul prezentarii, Daniel analizeaza live un magazin online ales din public. Daca vrei sa participi cu magazinul tau, vino pregatit cu link-ul la el. Nu e nevoie sa fie perfect, de fapt cu cat are mai multe de imbunatatit, cu atat exemplul e mai util pentru toata lumea din sala.

De ce merita sa participi
Pleci cu o lista clara de lucruri de verificat si de reparat in propriul magazin, nu doar cu idei vagi. Punctele discutate sunt usor de aplicat, multe dintre ele fara buget mare sau dezvoltare complexa, doar atentie la detalii care de obicei sunt trecute cu vederea.

Ce NU este aceasta prezentare
Nu e o prezentare despre SEO, despre reclame sau despre cum aduci trafic in magazin. Nu e nici un pitch pentru un serviciu sau un produs anume. E strict despre ce se intampla dupa ce vizitatorul a ajuns deja pe site si cum il ajuti sa cumpere.

Pentru oricine lucreaza cu un magazin WooCommerce sau ia decizii despre el: dezvoltatori, owneri de magazine online, oameni de marketing sau product. Nu ai nevoie de cunostinte tehnice avansate ca sa intelegi si sa aplici ce discutam, majoritatea punctelor sunt despre UX si logica de business, nu despre cod.

Ionuț Petculescu is a Principal Software Architect at Matrix42 with over a decade in software engineering, spanning hands-on software development to leading cloud, AI/LLM, and machine learning platform initiatives. Currently driving the architecture strategy across core cloud, data platforms and mentoring other architects, he will guide us on how the power of AI Models alone is not enough and what other components we need to wrap around it.

Alex Bordei is an AI & Technology Advisor with experience in building and operating software products and AI-based systems. If it’s October, then it’s Big Data Week in Bucharest, which means it’s time for our annual BDW meetup. This year the evening is powered by Cloudera and supported by AWS. We’re staying close to the conference’s data and AI thread, with talks from eMAG and AWS on the architecture behind agentic access to enterprise data, without breaking the security model.

**Meetup RSVP is not enough to get in. You also need to register on the Cloudera event page — that’s what actually secures your spot. A Big Data Week Conference ticket is not required.**

Putting an AI agent in front of your data is the easy part. The hard part is everything underneath: who the agent is, what it can reach, what happens when it decides to act, and what stops it when the model gets it wrong. Georgiana Conete and Mihai Rez walk through eMAG's Cloudera platform and the MCP layer that lets users query Impala in natural language without stepping outside the permissions already enforced. Radu Dobrinescu then maps the layers that make agent autonomy defensible — least-privilege identity, gateway authorization, human approval on destructive actions, guardrails, and audit — each to a real failure it prevents.

We kept the last talk open, and we'd love to fill it from this group. eMAG will show how a platform team built this; Radu will show how it's meant to be secured. The third talk should come from wherever you actually sit:

• how you connected a model to a live database without changing existing permissions
• what you learned from building an MCP layer, or why you chose not to
• a time an agent did something wrong and how you fixed it
• how you manage identity, approvals, and audits for AI agents
• a guardrail that looked useful but didn’t actually work
• how much it all cost
