A casual social gathering for local game developers to meet and chat! All ages, stages and disciplines are welcome -- whether you're a student generalist or a triple-A veteran, a community manager or a musician, artist or hobbyist, anyone who works in/on/around games and wants to talk to like-minded people is welcome!

You don't need to bring anything, but if you are working on something and have videos or even a demo to play you will find an eager audience. And although it's set in a pub, don't feel obliged to drink either; you'll find many of us having dinner and soft drinks.

Using C# / .NET Technologies and IoT to curate and automate video footage of garden hedgehogs.

An experimental journey through device access, cloud storage, serverless functions, and a public website.

With an insight into problem-solving changes necessary to bring the code cross-platform to run on Linux on a Raspberry Pi.

🚪Doors open at 6:30pm with the intention to get started at 6:45pm.

We're all hacking with AI these days; writing in pretty much any language we choose. So do we still need package management? Reproducibility? Deployment? Collaboration? Perhaps. In this talk, we will explore what Nix adds to AI-driven development workflows from at least three perspectives.

Noon has been programming for longer than he's been alive. Starting aeons ago, by transitioning from high-energic states distributed evenly into mostly low-energy energy states distributed somewhat unevenly, Noon has always known how to arrange information. In 11 dimensions, you can look almost anywhere; so yes, Noon is user-focused. Noon has a background in mathematics, quantum computing, and functional programming, and has recently been spending his time as a human being excited about reproducible and joyful software engineering.
