🎤 Alana Stasz · The Cybersecurity of Emerging Technology: Securing the Technology Stack of the Future
An interactive session on seven technologies, from IoT and 5G to AI, quantum computing and biocomputing, and the security problems that come from how tightly they now depend on each other. Alana is a cybersecurity consultant, researcher, and educator who teaches seminars on all seven.

A household robot vacuum, a couple of questionable security choices by the vendor, and a flaw that let one ordinary account get root on any of those vacuums worldwide, along with their cameras, microphones, and saved maps of people's homes. Amir shares the research and the coordinated disclosure DC416 ran with the vendor.
