The Digital Heartbeat Tech Talks With Medtronic
Dublin Edition
After two sell-out events at the PorterShed in Galway, Medtronic’s ‘The Digital Heartbeat Tech Talks’ series is going on the road for the first time. This November, we are bringing the series to Dublin for an evening designed for software, cloud, data, AI, systems, product, and digital technology professionals who want their work to make a meaningful difference at global scale.
Join senior engineering leaders from Medtronic and connect with Dublin’s tech community to explore how cloud-native platforms are shaping the future of patient care. Discover what it means to build digital solutions where reliability, zero-downtime resiliency, and innovation directly support life-critical clinical outcomes.
- Date: Tuesday, 10th November, 2026
- Location: The Market Bar, Fade Steet, Dublin 2
- Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Tech Talks start at 7:00 PM)
About the Event:
Building on the momentum of our first two session at the PorterShed, this event expands the conversation across both Medtronic’s Patient Care Systems (PCS) and Digital Interventional Cardiology Therapies (ICT) teams.
We will explore how specialised clinical technology and modern cloud platforms intersect to power the next generation of connected healthcare. You will hear directly from engineering and technical leaders about how cloud-native platforms, connected systems and data-driven intelligence are shaping the future of patient care. This is a chance to discover what it means to build digital solutions where reliability, security and innovation can directly support better clinical outcomes.
Why Attend?
- Technology with purpose: See how modern software, cloud architecture, and connected platforms are being applied to complex healthcare challenges.
- Clinical and patient perspective: Hear how technology moves from code and platform decisions into real clinical settings and patient experiences.
- Insights from Medtronic teams: Learn how the Patient Care Systems and Digital Interventional Cardiology Therapies teams are advancing connected care and scaling digital health platforms across Ireland and globally.
- Dublin Tech Networking: Connect with local developers, architects, and product leads, as well as Medtronic’s engineering teams over complimentary finger food, craft beers, wine, and soft drinks on Fade Street.
- Open conversation: Take part in a moderated panel discussion and audience Q&A on the future of connected health, AI and meaningful tech.

About Medtronic’s Digital Health Engineering Teams:
Innovation happens where clinical domain expertise meets scalable, enterprise digital platforms. Our Patient Care Systems (PCS) team builds the secure, cloud-native architecture for continuous remote cardiac monitoring, while our Digital Interventional Cardiology Therapies (ICT) group delivers data-driven intelligence directly into acute care workflows.
Together, these teams push the boundaries of what’s possible in connected medical technology, ensuring that lifesaving telemetry data is processed reliably when every second counts. If you are curious about what software engineering looks like at Medtronic and want to build tech that genuinely matters, come network with our team.
