🚀 About the Talk
As UX designers, we constantly talk about user-centricity and empathy. But take a closer look and you'll notice: we rarely live up to it. Ironically, the persona, one of our most powerful tools, is disappearing from projects, and where it does still appear, it lacks personality and persuasive power. We don't need cardboard cutouts with a CV and a list of hobbies. We need personas that shape decisions. Using real examples, Diana will show how a single, well-chosen persona can get an entire team to rethink, and why this shift in perspective pays off far beyond working with users. The talk will be held in English.

👩‍💼 About the Speaker

Diana von Ow is a UX/UI designer at Liip, where she supports internal and external teams as a usability expert. She also teaches at OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences and at the Schule für Gestaltung St. Gallen. Having moved into UX from communications, she brings a keen sense of how people take in and understand information. In her projects, she combines the persona method with a universal design approach, enabling teams to work efficiently with a single persona and develop solutions that work for as many people as possible.
