Applying AI Events in Brussels
"AI research" and "AI in production" are two pretty different worlds at this point. This page collects events from the production side: how teams integrate LLMs into real products, build agents that are worth trusting, wire up RAG pipelines that don't quietly hallucinate, and ship Copilot-style features without breaking the rest of the app. Agentic coding is a particularly active thread right now, with dedicated meetups and studios popping up across the continent.
This page narrows the Brussels calendar to Applying AI events. It's a subset of Belgium's wider tech-event schedule, useful when you want something specific to go to in the city this month.
Brussels is unusually weighted toward tech-policy and open-source events because of the EU institutions concentrated in the city. FOSDEM each February is one of the largest open-source conferences in the world and draws tens of thousands. Around it, the calendar is full of AI-governance, data-protection, cybersecurity-policy, and platform-regulation events that reflect Brussels' role as the policy capital of European tech.

AI & Digital Sovereignty Summit Brussels (TransformIT Europe)
Brussels, 🇧🇪 Belgium
Hi everyone! As your new group organizer, I wanted to hit the ground running by securing a massive perk for our community.
I’ve partnered with the TransformIT Europe Conference to get our members an exclusive 50% discount for their summit in Brussels this May. This is a high-level event featuring exclusive speakers from:
- United Nations
- European Commission
- T-Systems
... and many more.
🎙 The Headliners:
- Dusan Chrenek (European Commission): Principal Adviser for the Digital Green Transition—at the heart of how the EU balances AI growth with climate goals.
- Griet Cattaert (United Nations): Discussing how technology moves beyond "compliance" to become a competitive advantage for sustainability.
- Industry Heavyweights: Experts from Google, T-Systems, and many more on sovereign cloud infrastructure and industrial AI.
- Dr. Frauke Fischer: Biodiversity expert asking: "Can AI save Nature?"
Why this matters for us: We usually talk about models and code, but this event focuses on the sovereignty and infrastructure side—how Europe can actually scale AI sustainably. It’s a great chance for us to move from "how it works" to "how it transforms society."
Key Topics:
- Digital Sovereignty: Europe’s sovereign IT infrastructure.
- AI for ESG & GreenTech: AI for sustainability and the circular economy.
- Smart Cities: Real-world IoT and Smart Building case studies.
🎟 Discount & Registration – 50% Discount for members of this Meetup Group
The 1-day pass is usually €60 and the 2-day pass is €100. We have secured a limited number of unique codes that let our members get tickets for less than half price.

AI & Data Readiness for Organisations
Brussels, 🇧🇪 Belgium
AI is not failing. Your data is. Join us to gather insights and applicable solutions to integrate AI safely into your organisation.
Is your organisation (DATA) ready for the AI era?Artificial intelligence is reshaping how organisations operate, communicate, and create impact. But the gap between ambition and readiness is widening.
Organisations lack the data foundations, governance, and strategic frameworks to act on it. Translating in fake reports and other issues.
This after-work event brings together leading voices from Europe's AI, IoT, and digital innovation ecosystem for an honest, practical conversation about what AI and Data readiness actually looks like, and how organisations of all sizes can get where they need to be.
This is not a hype event.
Expect real insights, applied case studies, and the kind of peer conversation that moves things forward. Bringing together AI, data and real-world impact - from enterprise systems to the Antarctica dataverse.
YOUR TICKET, YOUR IMPACT
This is not just a ticket. It's a contribution.
With a symbolic €22, your ticket goes beyond entry. Your contribution is used for healthy drinks, sustainable (sea)food and a part of it goes towards a donation for an environmental cause.
Every euro you spend creates both business progress and environmental impact. Attendance becomes participation. Consumption becomes contribution!
